I went to the doctor with scabies after being referred be dermatologist because I have autoimmune disease. He prescribed me ivermectin. My son could not get rid of scabies so I called to get a script for him. He have him one pill. It wasn’t enough to get rid of the scabies. I ended up getting them again. When I called to get help again the doctor got on the phone and refused to help me or my son. He claims there’s no way I could have been reinfected by my son or doing laundry. He told me he is refusing to help me. Very rude and unprofessional doctor. He prescribed ivermectin to son without even seeing him in the office.

I did not have a pleasant experience with dr Martinez. I went for a consult for Lyme and EBV. During the appointment, he became irritated when I did not answer his questions quickly enough. When he did the physical, he asked about an unrelated health issue from my lab work. He started pressing the issue and pushing me to answer. He then proceeded to give me his opinion on the unrelated medical issue that I was NOT there for! His reasoning why he gave his opinion was because he was doing a physical. He became irritated when I told him that I’m under a care of my DR and that I was there for an infectious disease consult, not to discuss the other issue. he was highly insensitive; he insulted and judged me. I have never been so stressed and upset leaving a doctors appointment. he did give me information about the Lyme and EBV and prescribed antibiotics, but did not recommend a follow up and sent me on my way. Even if he did, I would NEVER go back based on how I was treated.

Dr. Martinez helped save my life from a serious infection. He communicated directly with me and my surgeon they did multiple surgeries to get Reid of the infection. I truly believe without the outstanding care and treatment I received from Dr. Martinez I would not be here today. I can not thank him enough for what he did for me. His experience, knowledge, and commitment to his patients is simply incredible.

Saw Dr Martinez to manage my long time Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Epstein-Barr Virus after previous dr retired. He acted very skeptical from the start and said I should exercise more. I told him I had been taking walks as able and doing floor exercises previously, but was currently unable to exercise at all due to extreme fatigue and symptoms flaring so badly. I couldn’t explain why things had gotten so much worse for me. He pushed his finger into my thigh and said I was out of shape (only 113 lbs) and would continue to decline if I didn’t push myself. Same story on second and LAST visit... Changed drs and tested highly positive for Myasthenia Gravis after first visit! (serious autoimmune disease). This fully explained my inability to exercise. **Dr, once in a while, try thinking outside the box instead of being so judgmental. Of course, being a female, surely it was all in my head too!

Dr. Martinez is an amazing, very talented and knows what he’s talking about doctors! I’m dreading the day when he tells me that he’s retiring. Elizabeth also rocks! Great atmosphere and I feel so comfortable with them!
