I have been a patient of Dr. Cogburns for a few years for breast cancer. My experience with the office staff and Dr. Cogburn has been very good. There have been times when I was somewhat overwhelmed and the staff made followup phone calls to ensure I was making necessary appointments and getting appropriate bloodwork completed. I feel safe entrusting my health with Dr. Cogburn.

Dr. Cogburn is an amazing doctor and person The compassion and professionalism she showed my Mom was nothing like I had ever seen. She worked so hard and collaborated with other doctors to ensure my Mom received the correct and best treatment. Our family is a hug fan of Dr. Cogburn. I would recommend her to anyone battling cancer and needing a knowledgeable and caring physician.

When my breast cancer returned despite a double mastectomy Dr. Cogburn suggested genetic testing. I was found positive for Lynch Syndrome a genetic mutation that brings high risk of many cancers. Our 3 kids were tested and are all positive. They are now screened regularly. Dr. Cogburns astute attention has benefitted our family.

Having been diagnosed with Cancer without having any systems totally shook up my world. From the moment I met Dr. Cogburn with her caring personality and knowledge and understanding of what I was going through I knew I was blessed to be in care of the right doctor. She and her team are wonderful.

Lack of knowledge regarding my disorder lack of DUE DILLIGENCE and COMPLETE lack of ANY type of Information Treatment OR followup regarding my BLOOD DisorderCancer. I am now bedridden due to severe complications which have developed as a DIRECT cause of being left UNTREATED.

Friendly Dr. but I always felt rushed. Always told to follow her out the door yet doesnt make sure to make sure you are done with questions before doing so. She also from my experiences goes off of labs. Doesnt seem to want to rule everything out diagnostic wise before coming to a conclusion. Saying I highly doubt it or its possible but I dont think so isnt exactly what a patient wants to her. We want yes no and if maybe then tests to be able to say yes or no.

Dr Julia Cogburn is amazing I remember the first time I met her it was 2012 she was called in to consult on my daughters case she had developed a DVT after spine surgery but the typical procedure wasnt working. She accurately diagnosed a rare blood disorder that had gone undiagnosed in her since birth. In 2013 I was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer my doctor was of course Dr Julia Cogburn. I honestly think that she saved both of our lives.
