This surgeon was truely handpicked by God! I had been experiencing vision loss in my right eye for a little over a month. An MRI with contrast was done and a benign tumor was found. I was admitted to ER where i met with Dr.Vakharia. He was very patient and informative about my condition and the risks. I prayed and God led me to allow him to perform my 8hr operation. He made me feel secure…. Immediately After surgery, i could tell that my vision had improved! Although i am only 6days post op and on a road to recovery each day i feel better. Even my incision, isnt bad looking! I am so thankful for him.

Dr Vakharia performed a micro vascular decompression for my Trigeminal Neuralgia. The surgery went excellent with 100% relief. Dr Vakharia was easy to work with. He gave me a clear understanding of the condition and surgery and was a pleasure to engage with. Appointments were always on time.

I had been dealing with daily neck pain since I was 12 after a car accident I was in. I also have a condition that after trauma to a post of the body, I can get tumors in that area. Well been to several Dr's no one would listen to me. They kept telling me nothing was wrong, and I was making it up. Well, between my primary dr and Dr. Vakharia, I finally got answers. He scheduled me for surgery and removed 2 tumors from my neck. I finally have pain-free moments. It was really nice to be able to say my pain level was a zero. Before surgery on a good day, my lowest pain level was a 4. The incision line, Dr. Vakharia made is hardly noticeable, which is great. I can't thank him enough for everything he did for me. I highly recommend him.

My mom had the fortunate experience of being cared for by Dr. Vakharia. He saved her life. In addition to his fantastic neurosurgical skills, his bedside manner and compassion were wonderful. He truly cared for our family. I was amazed when he shared with me his areas of expertise. Brain surgery! 🧠 "You need brain surgery," is a very hard and scary set of words to hear! Doctor Vakharia sat down with two very scared people and laid out all the facts in terms that we could understand. He answered all of our many questions and spent 65 minutes with us on our first visit with him and never seemed like he needed to rush out. I know now he needed to be somewhere really important, but he never rushed us in any way. He lays out the pros and cons delivering it all with information that is easy to understand so you and your loved ones can make an informed decision. He spoke to both myself and my husband. He cared to include and hear both our thoughts on my situation. He carefully considered my other ailments when determining the best course of action for me. He has the best bedside manor I have ever experienced from any doctor. My brain aneurysm was not good. In fact, quite large. Fortunately with the advanced tools, techniques and the skills of doctor Vakharia, I am still here today! I am so grateful to Dr. Vakharia for saving my life. He is an amazing surgeon and man. He couldn't be more professional and caring. I would also like to say his staff at TGH were top notch with the pre op and post op care and really make you feel like family with their bedside manor and amazing care.
