Outstanding, caring doctor. Wonderful geriatric specialist. Takes the time to listen to the patient as well as the family. I couldn't be happier about the time and patience she had with my mother.

Dr Avila is a member of the UF Health Senior Care program. She is very caring, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. She does not rush through the pt. exam and takes the time needed to discuss the plan of care. The clinic knows how to properly bill Medicare and how to send prescriptions for meds, durable medical equipment and referrals that won't be denied by the insurer. It is very well worth the hour drive up to Gainesville to participate in this program.
