Dr Cancio is very thorough and explains and answers all your questions. She spends a great deal of time with you and is very caring. She is a highly skilled professional who is current on all infectious diseases and treatments. You will feel very fortunate to have her as your doctor because you will know you are in good hands.

This isan outstanding infectious disease doctor who initially managed ALL of the fellowship training for infectious diseases in the Tampa area for USF. She's dedicated her career to making sure patients always received the top evidence based care. She's a tough individual and if one has the pleasure to work with her they better have research to support whatever infection policy proposed as she will never accept shoddy work that could potentially harm an individual whether it's from food preparation, or a physician performing surgery. She initially was a solo practitioner, but hand selected partners from her top students always wanting to keep the very best, but for those she wasn't able to convince to stay in Tampa they didn't stray far as one is at Advent Health Zephryhills. You cannot go wrong with her, or any of her partners. As a plus her husband is a dentist!

She’s brilliant in addition to being the most thorough and caring doctor I’ve ever had. She never seems rushed & is great about explaining in great length what you’re dealing with and treatment options. I feel so blessed to have her as my doctor for over 10 years.

Dr. Cancio is the best! Very knowledgeable and thorough and excellent "bedside manner". The really cares about her patients and I would recommend her for excellent care.

She's knowledgeable and competent. However, she's overextended resulting in wait times that are often 2 hours or more. Her office staff are not warm and friendly.

I have been Dr. Cancios patient for over 15 yrs. I went to other Drs for 4 years with no results. Dr. Cancio found the fungus infection in my lungs and saved my life. She is the best Dr I have ever been encountered.

LOVE Dr Cancio. I can't say enough good about her. She hard to get an appointment with but that is a result of the level of care she gives. If you can, get an early morning appointment as she tends to run late in the afternoon I can't think of any other Dr that will need to be a part of my life than Dr. Cancio

Worst experience ever. I went to her practice for years seeing her associate then when she could not diagnose my problem I was switched to Dr Cancio. She would not listen to me and cut me off and only wanted to ask her questions and not allow me to speak. I told her over and over the medication I was on was making me sick and she would not believe it. Only when I stopped the medication on my own and changed it I got better, horrible experience.
