List of Mark C Glaum Md's Reviews
I had an appt. when I checked it said cancelled, I called and they fixed it. Today I called because my phone said cancelled and they said I cancelled it! I have waited 2 mos for this appt.
Dr. Glaum misdiagnosed me when I was preparing for cancer surgery 2 years ago. I'm writing because I still an suffering because of him. I had a reaction to the caine he was testing with my mouth on fire, severe pain in neck, left arm pain, and hand numb. Got to car chest pain since anaphylaxis used inhaler and then nitro to recover. Due to his lie that it wasn't an allergic reaction, I had a biopsy with this drug and was bedridden 2 weeks. Still have problems in left side of neck, pounding in chest, than numb hand & arm pain. Pulmonologist & nephrologist said that just because it wasn't what Dr. Glaum expected as allergic reaction, it was still a reaction. I am allergic. I have a much better allergist. This could have taken my life. He needs to listen to the patient. I would NOT recommend him to anyone.
Seems uninterested, provided inaccurate information regarding HAE, office staff not friendly, hard to get Rx refills
I am your patient. I typically have mild asthma and a lot of medication allergies. Another Dr prescribed a med and i had a reaction to it. I did not see any Drs during covid and you told me i couldn't be tested while covid was on. I need you today. I am having an asthma attack and called your staff who refused to get me in until June 2. I could be dead by then and am having an allergic reaction. The ER is only allowed to give one treatment and this is ongoing to the med. I cannot afford to go to the ER anyway. And i could get covid there. Why do i have a Dr, an allergist when they wont help me? Why should anyone come to see you when your staff doesn't care if i die from an asthma attack? WHy have a Dr who just tells you to go to the ER? Pointless!
If a negative star was available that would be too much. Worst office staff ever. Dr. Mistreated allergy for 6 months that another diagnosed in first trip. Office had 3rd party help with xolair shot Co pay. They dropped them and didn't tell patients their Co pay would go from 10.00 to 400.00 or more. I left saying I wouldn't pay that much. On drive home they said come back and we will honor the 10.00 one last time. I did and now 5 months later they said they never did that and have billed me. Go somewhere else. Even their bill says call but wait 4-5 days for a return call. Awful.
I can't even give this practice a star rating. I have made multiple calls since beginning treatment with side effects I have been experiencing due to the allergy shots. The nurse that calls back, sometimes after I have left multiple messages, is very rude and made me to believe it was in my head. I requested an appointment with the doctor and she told me it was scheduled. I went to the appointment after many bad experiences and the door to the office was locked. I called the main office and was told I did not have an appointment. I cancelled all my upcoming appointments and will not return, not even if it was life or death. IF you need an allergist, go somewhere else.
The staff here is horrendous, with a few people that are ok. They are inconsistent and do not properly warn their patients of upcoming changes. Within a few months they have changed back and forth between getting allergy shots and a doctor visit the same day and paying for one visit to having to come in for 3 allergy shot visits and then on the 4th you have to come back another day to visit the doctor and pay 2 separate fees! I am fed up with their inconsistency and lack of communication! I was assigned as a patient under Dr. Gluam and rarely see him, and when I do, there is no point as nothing has changed. I feel its wrong to tell patients they must take time out of their schedule to return to their office to see the doctor, wait an hour to only see him for 5 mins and talk about nothing! They have pissed me of so much and treat me for chronic hives, yet cause me stress that can onset my hives! Waste of money, sanity and time on this office!!!!!
Dr. pepper was attentive and knowledgeable about my allergies. She was thorough, and sat and listened to my concerns. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed out the door. I could not rate her more highly.
I saw a regular MD, 3 dermatologists and an allergist and none of them properly diagnosed my allergy. They just threw steroidal creams at me and one insisted I avoid contact with materials I was not allergic to. Dr Glaum sorted it out in one visit and effectively treated it with a non-steroid!
I was referred to this practice by another physician in 2011. It was an awesome move I will be forever thankful for. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The office runs so efficiently. I personally go to many specialists. This practice is tops. When necessary you can easily leave a voicemail on the triage line with questions and concerns. They will actually respond, sometimes within minutes. If the doctor, isn't available they will call to even let you know that. My specialists have been successful at receiving what they need without exception. My health situation is considered complex but they accept me as I am. I am so blessed to be able to be treated at this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
