MIdway Specialty Care Center's Online Review Report Card

Earlier this year I switched my care to Midway Specialty Care Center. From my first visit I was impressed with the care provided by Dr. Dunn Rodrigo Sabec APRN and the office staff. I have never felt rushed during my visit they answer all my question and they genuinely care about you and your healthA big thank you to Haslyn Last week when I arrived for my appointment I was greeted with a smile. She advised me it was my husband who had an appointment that day oops. No problem she said she then changed my appointment to that date and time. So I was able to be seen that day. It gets better I accidentally paid my insurance copay normally paid by a nonprofit. When I advised her of my error she was quick to fix and credit my account. I highly recommend Midway Specialty Care Center.

JB. Barker established patient at Midway Tampa location.Two big complaints1. Labwork appointment I felt like my needs and wishes were ignored by the staff member Jonathan. I requested another person to draw my blood because I was uncomfortable with Jonathan. My request was denied. I had two days of bruising from the blood drawn procedure.2. Jonathan inserted the needle into the right side of my gluteus inappropriately which caused a lot of pain and discomfort. Jonathans medical skills should be examined before he is allowed to conduct medical procedures on future patients.Due to these negative experiences I will not be coming back to this medical facility anymore. I do not recommend this medical facility to prospect patients.

Update Suddenly after posting this review they want to fix everything and send the right prescription. Not when I called crying and begging them to fix it and I just got silence.This place used to be great. I don’t know what happened to it. They simply refuse to send my prescription correctly. I’ve been calling every single day this week and this will be the 5th day. First they send my prescription to a random pharmacy almost 100 miles from where I live. Then they send it to the correct pharmacy with the incorrect quantity so my insurance will not cover it. Now I guess they’ve given up and won’t send it at all. So I’ll have to ration my meds until I can find a new doctor who will prescribe it accurately. Absolutely unacceptable. They’ve also been screwing up all of my spouse’s prescriptions.

I’ve just moved from Virginia with my partner who is retired military and we were looking for medical recommendations. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Dunn to me. Today it was my first day and my first impression was great because I’ve had a friendly welcome from the front desk Mary to the general manager Sylvia also other staff. I got interviewed by sweet Tameka who made me feel very comfortable with her big smile and her quiet voice.Thank you for making my day better.Mauro.

This is the 3rd time Ive called my DRs office and the receptionist could not understand my English. Because of this I ran out of my necessary medications. My life is put in danger by their receptionist inability to understand English. Ive been with MD Dunn for more than 10 years but will now have to switch because of his staffs inability to comprehend English.

Ive been seeing Dr.Dunn for over 20 years now. My only real complaint is not answering their phone. I had missed their call today by a second. I immediately retuned their call. However when I calledthe answering service picked up stating they were closed. This was this morning. Ive tried calling back several times. It now 345 pm and there is still no one answered. This happens quite frequently with them.Thats no way to run a business let alone a Doctors office. 🙁

Dr. Dunn has awesome bedside manner. He takes his time to really listen to you I highly recommend him to anyone. Btw theres a lab on site which saves you time from going off site for blood work. Been seeing Dr Dunn for 20 years.
