I met Dr. Hanan tonight in the ER. He had a warm demeanor to him that instantly made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. He was patient while waiting for other staff to arrive and was very understanding and respectful towards them. I like that he didn't waste a lot of unnecessary time. He is thorough and got the job done. I highly recommend him, and if I shall have any gastro issue in the future, I will not hesitate to give him a call.
Excellent Gastroenterologist! Have utilized his services for 15 years. Very punctual and no nonsense approach is great.
Extremely professional, empathetic, everything you want in a doctor. First office visit and I will never go elsewhere. Thank you for your commitment and genuine character!!
If you have Humana or Tricare Prime stay away from this doctor. The office is understaffed and the person doing the insurance is uninformed about Tricare Prime. Office still operates off paper records and did not have a good sense of what is covered under insurance and what is not. I was wrongly quoted for serves and out of pocket costs, and was told to go back to my primary care doctor for procedures the specialist should have conducted. Highly recommend you seek another office and doctor.
Super doctor. Great listener. Staff is competent and friendly.
Dr Hanan is awesome. Smart , kind and excellent at what he does. One of the few physicians who takes patient phone calls so never a misunderstanding in answers to questions by patient.
Dr. Hanan is one of those doctors that truly makes you feel seen and heard. I have the highest regard for him and would recommend his office to anyone and everyone I know.
While many patients do not wish to have a colonoscopy for several reasons, Dr Hanan and staff do everything possible to eliminate fear, misinformation, make instruction and advise clear.
Called and waited for “emergency patient services” but when I got on the line they said they couldn’t help me schedule an appointment until the next day. Understanding that you have an automated voice message in observance for New Years, but I was literally just in the hospital because I thought my intestines were going to explode and they told me to schedule an appointment now because something could be seriously wrong with me and the hospital had no GI in the building. Other reviews on here are accurate, this place seems unbothered with emergencies so please don’t be bothered to give them a chance, go somewhere else for your GI problems.
I have been seeing Dr Hanan for my colonoscopy for years. I disagree with any post that says DrHanan is not interested in care. That is not true. He cares for every patient and does answer any question asked of him. He may not be a big teddy bear. If u want that go to a toy store. I want a competent doctor and care less if he acts as my therapist ! Cynthia Harper

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
