Our experience has been that this office is inept at communicating with patients. My wife is on a six-week course of treatment with IV antibiotics infused at home. As her care giver I want to know what to do, when to do it and -- if that changes -- WHY it changed. Over and over with this office it has been a struggle to get that information. They are pretty good at taking messages ... calling back and explaining things, not so good.
My mother had a very serious and extended bout with C-dif, which almost killed her. Dr. Khan was extremely attentive and supportive and facilitated a transfer to different hospital, so she could receive treatment that was more effective, but not offered where she was originally being treated. He was compassionate, patient, and made himself very available for questions and consults. We are eternally grateful.
Very nasty and aggressive doctor...soooo unprofessional and arrogant.
Very good not nasty at all! very professional
Our son, 16, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis in his finger. There was a chance he could lose his finger . Dr. Khan came to see us at the hospital before surgery to tell us the plan for treating the infection. He was familiar with Jake's diagnosis ahead of time, he was charming, funny and had a great bedside manner around us and our son. Since surgery, we've been to his office in Wesley Chapel, the office was just like him-professional, personal, and takes time for every one of his patients.
Our son, 16, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis in his finger. There was a chance he could lose his finger because of the infection. Dr. Khan came to see us at the hospital before surgery to tell us the plan for treating the infection. He was familiar with Jake's diagnosis ahead of time, and did so much to calm the fears of two very nervous patients. He was charming, funny and had a great bedside manner around us and our son. We've been going to his office in Wesley Chapel every day since the surgery -- Every time we have been there he has come in to the IV room to check on Jake and every one of his patients. He takes the time to talk with each of us -- including waiting parents like me. The team of professionals at the clinic are wonderful -- they remember that I like Diet Coke and Jake likes Sprite and they are so very professional. We could not be happier with Dr. Khan.
Dr doesn't listen likes to cut you off when your speaking. Will tell you he is nothing but an HIV doctor and doesn't like to discuss anything out of the realm of HIV. Worst Dr I have ever been to. Will never return to see this Dr. BEWARE
I like everything about this doctor and staff. Professional, knowledgeable and caring. Never pushes medication. Teaches you how to keep happy and healthy with less drugs. The Habana office is a beautiful atmosphere. I always leave feeling better. Thank you. Blessed to have you in my life.
The office staff at IDATB are horrible. They are always too busy with their own personal conversations, text messages, etc. to care for patients. It is a shame because Dr. Khan is a great doctor. I am looking for a new doctor because of his staff.
dr khan is good with pain, need another shot pain is bad
