What a waste of time. Was there for over an hour. Went out of my way to see an MD for the issue, he spent less than 5 mins in the room, was of no use answering questions or being knowledgeable on the subject, then rushed out of the room to go back to looking at vacation destinations on the computer with his colleagues.

As a "baby boomer" and cataract patient of NewsomEye (one eye done, one to go!), I am blown away by the kindness, efficiency, and professional expertise of every one of the many employees encountered on my journey to acquire the famous "NewsomEyes". I had stubbornly and mistakenly pushed back on my fantastic doctors (Dr. Garruto and Dr. Vandenberg) both of whom had encouraged me get this done for many months. I am so happy and fortunate that I finally took their advice! I wish I could remember and acknowledge all of the technicians that helped me so expertly before and during the surgery which was performed brilliantly by Dr. Szabo! The follow-up appointment with Dr. Vandenberg and her Technician, Trish, was the "icing on the cake" as both of them listened patiently to my questions, responded thoroughly, and added some very valuable tips about recovery and long-term care of my awesome NewsomEyes!

Trish and Dr. Ochs were very good. Had a thorough eye exam (Trish explained everything - which was great!) Then was seen by Dr. Ochs. Quick and efficient.

I had Light Adjustable Lens cataract surgery in October 2024. I am so pleased with the results. No glasses or contacts lenses. Thank you to the whole staff and Dr. Szabo.

Dr Ochs and Tricia at the South Tampa location are fantastic. I was fitted for my first set of contacts after wearing progressive lens glasses for about 5 years. It took some trial and error but now I’m in the right combination. Great distance & reading without glasses.

Fast and efficient. Dr. Newsome did my cataract surgery and it changed my life! I have worn glasses since the age of 5 and to not have to wear glasses or contacts anymore-amazing!

Im always impressed with how quickly I'm in and out. My last visit was 30 mins! I've been to an eye doctor in Sun City that took 2 hours from start to finish! Everything works smoothly and I'm sync.

My Newsom Eye OD, Dr. Daniel Ochs is the best and Newsom Eye staff are far above other eye care center staff when it comes to professional, friendly and patient centered care. Newsom Eye offices and surgical center are clean, comfortable and state of the art. My cataract surgeon, Dr. Brian Szabo, exuded confidence, knowledge and experience performing my light adjustable lens procedure flawlessly. I now enjoy the best eyesight ever.
