Dr. Ramirez-Cook is very personable and friendly. I like that she is willing to be so accommodating with alternating between in-person and online visits. She takes the time to understand her patients needs’ and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of how best to handle them. Dr. Cook is excellent and I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Ramirez Cook is wonderful. She is professional, a great listener and very smart. Dr. Ramirez takes her time with her young patients and establishes great rapport. She has been a blessing in my child’s life.

When I’m doing ok I am fully supported. In my previous post I’ve explained how Dr cook saved me. I had been misdiagnosed for years and in a VERY short time she properly diagnosed me and finally I felt like a normal human being, in control of my life. My mind was no longer spaghetti unable to cope. However life is never without challenges and when you have mental health disease this can be overwhelming. If you need a doctor you can TRUST and share your vulnerability, in times of crisis here you are. Not only do you know Dr Cook understands the ups and downs of life’s very difficult times…it’s without judgement but it is with brutal honesty. Dr Cook is there for your safety. She without requesting a fee follows up immediately about your situation and safety. I KNOW 100% that tonight at 740 pm I could cry out to Dr Cook for help. Thankfully, because I recently had an appointment during a frightening time and due to her guidance and help I’m in a better place. I took better control of my life with my partner and realized we need to get back to a better track and we ARE. She opened my eyes to my reality. If it cannot be fixed get out is what she said. She opened my eyes to what was right in front of me that I was no longer seeing. My relationship is better, I know I have support and I have tools to strive for the life I want. Nothing is perfect when your mental health needs continuous nurturing but when you have the appropriate support you make better decisions and it guides you to live the life you want and deserve. I deserve (I mean I REALLY do honestly deserve the best life) a great life full of love and laughter and security and with the proper psychiatrist help I make better decisions, my partner makes better decisions because I have the STRENGTH to face issues with the same honesty and conviction. It isn’t easy and will never be easy but if you are committed life can be better, with guidance. Let go of what you think is a painful reality, accept help and embrace it. Take it to heart and make it a new reality. I just cannot express the enrichment of my life, what I will and not accept is in my hands. With HELP your strength and clarity will amaze you. MUCH LOVE DR COOK! Life is GOOD AND GETTING BETTER

We love Dr.Cook! She is smart, and knows what she is doing! She does not take short cuts and holds the patient and parents responsible! It is a joint effort. She communicates with you so that you know what is going on and that is very important to find in psychiatry these days. I highly recommend her and I would trust her completely! Thank you Dr. Cook

Dr. Cook was not helpful but very judgmental of me as the parent. Blaming me for my kids disorder. Met several times. She was only concerned with money and being paid for her 15/20 minutes of her time. Then went up in office dues during the pandemic, when in quarantine. We stayed because we couldn’t get into another psychiatrist right away. She had a quick FaceTime visit with my kid (paid in full) and then texted a brief message to find another psychiatrist. We have found someone else and couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Ramirez-Cook helped me when nothing else worked. She brought me back to my normal self and I am continuing to improve!!

Dr. Cook changed my life. I was severely over-medicated and she was the only one who saw it after years and years of struggling. She helped me get to a great place with my mental health and I am SO grateful!

Doing a full blood work before any medications are given and engaging my husband in my treatment plan…are the reasons I choose to see Dr. Cook. She is compassionate, clear and genuinely cares about you and your situation…I feel like she is my cheer leader wanting only the best for me. She is always available when I need her, always.
