Dr. Clifford was very clear in explaining it would not be a easy recovery from bi-lateral full knee replacements at the same time on June 27, 2007. Surgery went well, spent a week in boot camp rehab and 6 weeks of at home rehab 3 times a day, with regular weekly PT rehab at the Speciality Hospital. By the middle of August, 2007 I was beginning to have good motion and use of both of my legs. In July, 2008, my wife and I took a trip to the Middle East and we both climb to the top of Mt. Sinai, of course I was 56 at the time. Now I am 72 and so far, I have had minimal knee issues, praise God. Thank you Dr. Clifford in how you have used your gifts & skills from God and have truly Blessed my quality of life. I wished you were back in North Carolina.

Dr. Clifford was personable, knowledgeable. My first visit he explained the total procedure of my total hip in detail including the type of hardware he would use for me. He actually spent at least an hour my first visit. My post op visit was just as informative. Also his office staff are wonderful. Just one more thing please don’t let him make you coffee after your surgery at the surgery center LOL. Great doctor.

Dr. Clifford and his staff went above and beyond! Extremely professional and polite. Dr. Clifford takes time to explain the procedure and answer any questions. Highly recommend Dr. Clifford. The compassion and understanding he has for his patients is unlike any I’ve experienced.

I was 53 and on a walker barely able to walk when I met Dr Clifford. From the minute I came into the office I knew I was in the right place. The staff was very nice and efficient. I was not rushed out the door or told I weighed to much to have surgery. Dr Clifford replaced both of my hips within 2 weeks of each other and I was walking without a cane in 3 weeks. I had surgery at the Legacy Surgery Center and went home same day. The staff at the surgery center knew what they were doing. Everyone was so kind to me. Dr Clifford has changed my life!

My first time seeing a doctor about my bow legs. Very honest man, VERY DETAILED & answered all my questions, while educating me at the same time. He’s a practical doctor & you don’t see that so much nowadays, will Definitely be the doctor I want to preform my surgery. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

Get ready to be IMPRESSED by Dr. Phillip “Flip” Clifford. I have never met an orthopedic or any doctor like Dr. Phillip Clifford at OJRCA. Not only is he tops in the nation for surgeries without any complications, but his bedside manner is EXCEPTIONAL. Dr. Clifford performed both of my total hip replacements within two weeks of each other. I was home walking the evening after each surgery. Eight weeks later and I am without pain moving and doing things I haven’t done in years. I’m so excited and all thanks to Dr. Clifford’s expert hand with the assistance of his Amazing PA Mattie. Doctor Clifford is an OUTSTANDING surgeon and a genuinely kind human being. He’s compassionate, patient, calm and sincere. Dr. Clifford always took the time to talk with me and thoroughly answer ALL of my questions. He never rushed. He even gave me a hug when I was up after surgery. He really is SUPERIOR. I highly recommend Dr. Clifford if you’re having hip or knee pain. He is the Best of the Best! Once I called his office on a Friday afternoon and doctor Clifford answered the phone. He said that he will let the staff go home early on Fridays while he covers the phones. Who does that? What an EXCEPTIONAL doctor!! His office staff is wonderful too. Kim, the office manager is friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. She has never kept me waiting. The longest I have ever waited was, at most 10 minutes. Kim and the rest of the office staff is remarkable. Go see Dr. Clifford, you will most definitely be happy you did!

I was surprised at the easy scheduling, replacement and recovery. Dr. Clifford explained all that was involved in the surgery and recovery. He was extremely thorough. The surgery was performed at an outpatient surgery center. I went in at 7:30 and walked out at 11:30. I am so grateful to have had my hip replaced. I can begin living y life again without pain.

had an excellent experience having a knee replacement. I was denied by other surgeons due to potential high risk of complications. Dr. Clifford personally spent a great deal of time educating me about post op care. I sailed through the surgery without pain or any complications. I am a retired RN with orthopedic experience. I also had a previous hip replacement. Dr. Clifford is the cream of the crop. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation. I went into the center at 11 AM and was home at 7PM walking with a walker with no pain.
