Why have appointments when you let your patients in after waiting over an hour even with an appointment? The workers are all extremely rude, especially when you ask for clarification on something. My mom and grandma went in together (FINALLY after an hour and a half) as they booked the same time, and when they were seated in the room the dermatologist (Korean lady in her 60s) kept leaving the room. This was supposed to be a typical consultation, which you would normally expect to go something like the doctor asking why the patient came in today, to which the patient replies and then they try to think of a solution and/or proper treatment. This doctor left the room in between each question, and when given a question she offhandedly said "it's probably eczema" for my mom's allergic reaction when it 100% is not. Then my grandma asked a question about a mole she wanted removed on her face, to which the doctor glanced at her arms and legs and said to book an appointment with the front desk and just left. They waited in the room for her to come back as they had more questions, but she was taking so long they asked a nurse when she was coming back, but they said the consultation was now over. No estimate, no treatment suggestion, just unprofessionalism. Do not come here. We wasted three hours of our day (including commute) and our copay for a consultation that was less helpful than google answers.
very rude and one the phone and with visited hospital docter was very upset for something. she will not talk to me on anything. Very strange.she keeping saying i am busy i am busy. I don't know what do to. Now i am goint other doc. office.
No wonder this place has bad eating such an horrible customer service. Reception who answered was so rude and unpleasant she has No manner treating potential value clients doesn't DR. working there actually check the reviews she's terrible attitude.
Yelp, options for Zero stars??Wow this physician is terrible, so terrible I can't believe she received her training at UCSF. Maybe UCSF was not the same back in 1988?Her bedside manners are absolutely horrendous. She looks at your face for one second, doesn't make eye contact, goes in & out of the room multiple times, no introductions, just asks "How you wash your face" "What do you do with water" She's completely unprofessional and rude. Handing out unlabeled ointments is questionable. She has too much medical ego, and her practicing within a small Asian community is making it worse. I am ashamed to call her a fellow MD.I won't mention much about the staff - I think other people got that covered.
Omg. OH my god.Bad experience. Waste of moneyDont go thereDont go thereDont go there
Interesting that they're still in business.. Both receptionists are bad. One is an old rotten snake and the other is arrogant yet retarded. Best combination!
I chose to overlook the terrible yelp reviews but that turned out to be a big mistake.I have never been to a more unprofessional, low quality doctor's office. As the other reviews mention, the two receptionists are just bad human beings with anger issues which they take out aggressively on patients. They have an issue with everything you say, every question you ask - everything is a trigger for getting snark in return. The fact that this is a very normal experience for this location, is not okay. They cannot expect to speak to patients so disrespectfully and get away with it every time. At one point I caught the short-haired woman cussing in Korean to the other lady, maybe thinking I wouldn't understand but at the same time it seemed like she wanted me to hear? She has a temper and an attitude, and should be banned from the health field. The doctor only seems to care to do the bare-minimum - doesn't really care about her patients any more than the two mean ladies, or how her practice is run. I tried to pull her aside privately to bring awareness to the situation and tell her I wouldn't be getting treatment or returning because I was treated so poorly by her employees, and she said fine and left the room. You would think she would appreciate the heads up that these women are tainting her reputation and want to do something about it.Honestly, I'm not sure how this place is still running as a medical center. Restaurants get shut down if they don't meet inspections - incompetent medical institutions should as well.*If you have been mistreated at this office, please file a complaint/grievance with the CA state medical board since it seems they don't bat an eye at their reviews. One complaint might not lead to discipline, but multiple complaints may launch a formal investigation so that no one else has to go through this in the future. mbc.ca.gov/Consumers/fil…In conclusion, all these people care about is you swiping your card (won't take Amex either because you know, got to save on transaction fees). It's a fraudulent business. I considered going through with treatment so my co-pay for the visit wouldn't go to waste, but could not stand the thought of paying them anything more. My $50 out the window was enough - please don't waste your money, time, or sanity and find a real professional health care provider.
Rude!!!!!!!!Definitely not recommended.Bad customer services!!!Doctor is irritable!!!I would rated 0!!!!
$300 GONE. Be prepared to pay $150 for anything. Can't say I'm surprised because I initially went to Dr. Cho to get a cyst drained and after multiple visits, the cyst is not fully healed. Since the drainage, I've been back at her office three times all for a simple "dressing". Mind you no medication is applied nor does the doctor care to look you directly in the eye and inform you of the situation. I'm extremely frustrated and will not be going back. I was told once again that I would need to come back on Thursday. Hell no. I can take some gauze and tape it on myself. Consider tossing $150 to some rats who are money hungry and leave it. Will do you no good returning. While I was there I inquired about getting laser removal for bumps and moles on my face. The first time the nurse had me look in the mirror and see where I would need the topical numbing cream. She went ahead and applied the numbing cream on only places she felt was needed. I was moved to another room with the laser device and the doctor came in and told me she would inject my eye area without disclosing what it was or any warning. I had to ask after my treatment what it was that she injected into my eye area. The second visit I was in for a dressing change, I pointed out that she had missed a few areas and she did not look happy. Instead of moving me again to the room, she kept me there and used whatever laser device she had and did not inject lidocaine and applied the topical numbing cream. Let me remind you all that the initial time, the nurse strictly said that she cannot apply the topical cream around the eye area but this time they did. The whole procedure was rushed and done without care. It was very obvious. She only focused on one bump on the eye and was done. The third visit was for another dressing change. This time I was extremely frustrated about my face. Not only did she miss a lot but because the areas she worked on was even more noticeable and exaggerated. But this time they moved me into the room (same as the initial visit) and laid me down and asked for a fee of $60!!! After she just told me that the reason why the doctor didn't do it is because it's small anyway but doing it won't affect it. So then tell me why anyone would agree to pay an additional fee for something that "won't work" AND for the area she missed! She's out her damn mind.Final thoughts. This place is filled with medical malpractice and I can guarantee there's a lot more that we don't see because most of her patients are Koreans and elderly patients. Will toss you a consent form without giving you the time to read it. Nurse nor the doctor disclosed any information for post-op and you just need to figure it out. Please refrain from this place. I've experienced it and this is not how patients should be treated. Just a lot of money hungry, rude, incompetent individuals in scrubs. What a cash grab.
Walked in and was not greeted. Mainly the lady at the reception did not look like she wanted to be here. Very rude and impolite. Would take more than half and hour to ask for ID and just have you sit there without any updates on what steps are to come. Also, a man asked to use the restroom and she blatantly ignored him. He turned around to ask the patients sitting in the waiting room, in which we had no idea. Lack of customer service and care. She should be let go if she is going to be so rude and careless about the quality of patient care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
