Nice doctor and assistant but extremely unclear and shady billing & insurance practices. Came in as self pay for a tongue/lip tie consult when my son was an infant. They offered to schedule his one year appointment almost 7 months in advance or maybe even more than that. We explained we were waiting until January for our dental benefits to have our son on the plan. At no point was it mentioned that they aren’t in network with any insurance anyway. After the appointment was finished we were hit with a $221 total for 15 month olds first appointment. $97 for the exam, $85 for the the cleaning which was even less than the brushing we already do at home, & $39 for a fluoride treatment that we weren’t even given the option to take or not. We just trusted the doctors plan of care. We were advised we can just get it reimbursed and even went ahead and did it for us. Our insurance barely covered half. Called to see if anything can be done and both insurance and the office said we’re basically screwed because they’re not a contracted provider. As they are not contracted with anyone. So they can bill whatever they want. So although the doctor was really so kind, she also owns this business & I will not be back due to the lack of transparency before services are rendered.

Dr. Lauren and her staff are amazing! My daughter loves going to the dentist because they make her feel so comfortable. I highly recommend !!

I have a wonderful dentist who didn’t have the equipment to work on my child. He referred me to another dentist whom he trust and that dentist then referred me to Krewes. Definitely do you research before sending you child to a dentist or doctor. Krewes office was amazing. From the front desk through the entire experience was amazing. The first appointment they made sure my son was more focused on games so he wasn’t nervous at all when he returned for surgery. They do a great job keeping your child’s attention focused on playing instead of the dental work.

Dr. Lauren is a great dentist and does good work. The support staff is also great. We are sad to have learned there is now a dog at the office sometimes and feel uncomfortable with this for a variety of reasons. We wish her well and will miss her and the office.
