Dr Nagabandi is a managed care keyboard jockey. He's working with my insurer to deny payment on an MRI prescribed by a nationally ranked specialist, in a specialty he himself has never practiced, with an anatomically absurd argument, after the MRI was already preapproved AND done. I wouldn't be comfortable being seen by a physician who was in the business of writing managed care peer reviews for patients they have never examined. Putting this up to help others make informed choices.

As a fellow physician and medical professional that has had to work with Dr. Nagabandi, I can say he was pompous and unprofessional the VA hospital in Jackson MS. He is not up to date on Standards of Care for acute stroke patients, while claiming to be an expert Emergency Medicine Physician for > 15 years. His pride and conceit may be a danger to patients in the future.
