The Lasik Vision Institute's Online Review Report Card

Came in for a consult 2 weeks ago just to see what the options were. I’m not one who lets anything/anyone touch my eyes. They were so friendly and patient with me. Had the lasik surgery yesterday and follow up today. Ken was great and helped me through the process there and Candice is very knowledgeable of the different processes and convinced me to do it. The surgeon who did the surgery was top notch and was able to work around my flinching and moving around (even after they give you a chill pill). I have worn glasses for 22 years and just expected this to be the norm but they opened my eyes (excuse the pun) to what could be and now that is a reality. I am so thankful for the helpful and friendly staff there who made perfect vision possible for me and would recommend this to anyone who is considering it. I’m one who could never wear contacts and they got me through it. Just know the day of surgery will suck after but if you sleep for 6 to 10 hours after you will feel like a million dollars after! I can not recommend these fine folks enough if you are considering Lasik surgery!!!!!

The best experience I could have expected. I was afraid of surgery as everyone else. Ken Basteiro was very helpful and caring. He explained with what to expect on the surgery and after surgery. Dr Ireland treated me like one of his family members with care. Overall the entire staff was genuinely helpful and caring. Thank you all

My entire experience here was second to none. I am so pleased with my outcome of my Lasik, as I am one week post-op today! The receptionist, assistants, ophthalmologists, and patient counselors are all incredible. I felt like they genuinely cared for my eyes specifically. The day of my surgery, they all were very positive and organized, so as to keep patients calm and the day after my surgery, Claudia and Ken both called me by name when I walked in and asked how I was. Dr. Ivan Ireland...I can't sing his praises loud enough! What a sweet man. His bedside manner is incredible and his explanation of the procedure is spot on accurate while remaining honest about what parts might be intimidating for a patient. I of course was nervous, but never once did I feel unsure; I was confident in this team the entire way through. I am so pleased and grateful!

After interviewing several lasik companies in Tampa to do the PRK eye surgery I chose The Lasik Vision Institute. Their staff was helpfull, knowledgable and explained everything thoroughly. The center manager Ken Basteiro was very detailed with every step since the initial cosultation. He provided many options and made sure I understood the surgery process. I am happy I had my eye surgery their. I can see now and I am very pleased with my experience.

OMG ! What a difference in my vision. I am so glad I had lasik done on my eyes. From start to finish i was very comfortable having my lasik done by LASIK Vision Institute Tampa. I called several lasik clinics before hand but Ken Basteiro took the time explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. There was no high pressure sales in fact I had to call them to get scheduled in. I followed all their directions before and after surgery including taking a nap when I got home. When I woke up , the news was on TV and I could see the time and temp down in the corner. WOW I love my new eyes !!! Thank you to Ken Basteiro and all the staff at Lasik Vision Institute Tampa.

Surgery was fast.comforting and good staff... i can see better just need my monthly checkup and is backedup.by warranty

Great customer service and a great experience. Ken explained the process of what was going to happen during the procedure. Along with helped us with setting up payment options. Dr Ireland made me feel comfortable and relaxed as well as gave me a dragon to hold on to during the surgery. No complications, I can see clear as day next day .

My experience at this office left me very well impressed in the most positive way. It makes me WANT to go back there again, should I ever need to. Thanks to the honesty and the customer service oriented staff, I feel this way. Thanks to Mr. Ken Basteiro, a Center Manager, I felt very well cared for and covered. I have to say for this group of people, the staff, they deserve their just accolades. You could only wish that EVERY business could be run as well as this office does! (May 2018 ).
