From the time I contacted them to the day I was discharged from the hospital Dr. Carling and staff have beeen top notch! I’m so happy I cancelled surgery someplace else and choose them!

I have bilateral adrenal issues and Dr.Carling’s partial bilateral mini back scope surgeries are allowing me the opportunity to avoid lifelong steroid replacement medication. I will be forever grateful for his amazing skills and genuine expertise in all things adrenal.

After seven years of research, seven years of numerous emergency room visits, numerous hospitalizations, hundreds of thousands of dollars just to be told there's nothing we can do. I was seen by 7 different EXPERTS at several very prestigious hospitals. My local renal doctor and I were researching new information on pheochromocytoma and seven articles came up by Dr. Carling. This led us to his website and within a week I had a consultation. I had to start cardio workouts and lose 10 to 20lbs before surgery and by week 3, I was in Tampa Florida prepping for surgery. God's perfect time! I am a completely new person today! No more hypotension, no more severe labile resistant hypertension, no more debilitating muscle cramps, no more severe electrolyte imbalance. No words can ever truly express the gratitude I have for Dr Carling and his entire team for giving me a renewed hope in medicine and a new chance at life!! Dr. Carling and the entire staff at the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery was 5 star. All of the staff, nurses, and doctors on Dr. Carling's team were amazing: kind, patient, knowledgable, and compassionate. Dr. Carling was top notch and I appreciated his knowledge, directness, and experience in our consultation and his attention to detail on the day of surgery. He was patient to answer all of my questions before and after surgery and was able to completely remove my adrenal tumor in less than half an hour of surgery. I am now 2 weeks post-op and healing really well. Meredith has been easy to get in touch with when had questions after being discharged. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Carling and his entire crew. It was worth the 10 hour drive to see him and have him perform my surgery. I have no doubt that recovery would have been much more difficult if I had seen the recommended surgeon closer to me, who had less experience in adrenal surgery.

I have been a colorectal surgeon in Palm Beach for 40 years. At first I was fearful being a patient instead of being the surgeon. From the moment I met Dr. Carling, my fears were alloyed and I knew I was in the right place with the right surgeon. I no longer feared going into the operating room. I had 100% trust in Dr Carling and the Endocrine Center. The treatment I got was remarkable for competence, care, and humanity. I felt like a VIP as I am sure every patient with Dr. Carling feels that way. I had multiple problems which were handled with such smoothness. On Tuesday I had an adrenalectomy and on Wednesday I had a thyroidectomy. I was discharged from the Center that same Wednesday and was home to start my recovery that Thursday. Truly remarkable. The nursing staff was wonderful and dedicated to providing wonderful patient care. They enjoyed working there and would do anything and everything necessary. I have gotten multiple calls to see how I was doing. They care!!

Such a great surgical experience from start to finish. An expert in adrenal tumors, Dr. Carling has brought so much relief to my life and to many others. The MBSA was quick and recovery has been very smooth.
