Dr. Mamta Patel, MD has been my ophthalmologist for 3 years. At today's visit March 5, 2025 Dr. Patel examined my eyes thoroughly while treating me with respect and kindness. Dr. Patel shares in a friendly bedside manner her expertise and knowledge to this patient. I have reservations in visiting doctors, Dr. Patel quickly eases my concerns and I look forward to my appointments because of her. USF is fortunate to have her services. She also works with the Veterans from the Veterans Hospital. Her staff from receptionist, nurse, and xray technician are as welcoming as she is. Thank you.

Every time we come here we wait over two hours to be seen. My brother is special needs and cannot wait long periods of time due to his condition. None of the staff here could care less about how long the patients wait or if they are even able to wait that long. No sense of urgency. They cancel people’s appointments same day and if you are able to schedule one just know it’ll be 3 hours after your scheduled time.

Dr. Patel was so super nice. She explained everything very well. She also answered all my questions! I would recommend her to anyone. The office staff was also very nice and the wait time was not long at all. My experience was 100% the best.
