My mom had hiatial hernia surgery, she was very healthy physically and mentally, 78 years old. She was referred by Dr Giday. She died in the hospital from complications including sepsis and shortage of nurse care. I was with her the whole time, I had to watch her suffer til the end. Dr Eubanks did not visit, he had his residents do that. The only time i saw him was when he was giving his students a tour and bragging about his surgeries. I was able to speak to him at this time, as this is when my mom’s O2 levels were dropping. He said to me that the patient next door is doing well and going home, your mom needed to do the breathing exercises more. He didn’t even walk in her room to see her, he continued with his tour. Hours later my mom went to have a scope of her lungs and all went worse and then she was put on intubation then to ICU then days later she passed away. My mom did not deserve this, she took such good care of herself, she was healthy. Worse week of my life, I still have flashbacks of that week.
