Being new to Tampa, God showed favor and blessed me with the best primary care physician and staff possible. Thanksgiving is a time to say what you’re grateful for, therefore , they will be included in my Thanksgiving prayer.

Si por mi fuera ninguna estrella, la peor medico que puede existir, acabo de salir de una cita con ella y me atendió de una manera cruel y grosera, mi Cita era a las 9:30, llegue a es ahora en punto a la recepción y me vino atender 20 minutos después, llega al consultorio y regañándome y diciendo que me iba atender rápido por que yo llegue tarde cosa que es falsa, me dijo que me iba a mirar lo que tenía y que me fuera, que no tenía más tiempo para mi, que si no quería que me fuera pero que así me iba a atender, de la manera más despiadada, no consulten con ella, no tiene Ética profesiónal, no sabe cómo tratar a un paciente,

Dr. Rodriguez Mendez is a caring and personable M.D. Her office staff goes out of their way to ensure patients are given the best care possible. Appointments are easy to schedule (COVID has caused delays in availability but, this is at no fault of the staff). Insurance authorizations / pre-authorizations are done quickly and professionally, and appointment reminders are friendly and timely. The nurses are genuine, from the time they enter the exam room, you know they care about you as a person and not “just another patient.” They take time to ask questions, they listen carefully, and never rush you while answering. Without fail, they carefully go over every medication history with you, editing your chart to reflect any changes to ensure your medical chart is up to date. They note the reason for your visit as well as any other changes or concerns you may have or wish for your M.D. to know about. You are treated with respect and care. Dr. Rodriguez Mendez spends time getting to know each patient personally. After two years, seeing her every 3 months (along with hundreds of other patients) she has always remembers me, specifically. She never fails to ask me about my life and family in detail. I could find an M.D. closer to where I live but, because of the simple, tiny things Dr. Rodriguez Mendez and her staff do, they reassure me that she is the M.D. for my family. I hope my review helps anybody looking to find an M.D. who cares for with and always will. P.S. I moved to Tampa from another state a few years ago and after trying a couple of other M.D.’s found Dr. Rodriguez Mendez, I am happy I didn’t settle.

If you have any chronic illnesses or need other dr's to help treat or diagnosis your problems, she will do nothing for you. She will run a few tests then say I have no clue what's wrong with you. Stayed in th hospital last month and had nurse's tell me I needed to find a new Dr. Now that is scary when people in your profession don't even trust her. So if have serious illnesses or chronic ones, she is not a good choice. Most staff is horrible. One of her nurse is really great. She acts like she doesn't even care anymore about her people, before her medical/family problems she was a good-not great Dr, but now she us just horrible. I fear I will die before they figure out what is wrong with me.

Very friendly and cares about her patients. Works hard to provide the best care.. Has been a blessing to me..

I would not recommend anyone ever go see this doctor. She doesn't explain nothing she has very poor people skills and I am reporting her to her superior for her unwillingness to even give a doctor excuse. My husband works and could be fired for not having a doctors excuse and Rodriguez refuses to give one. Well she won't have a job for much longer she is incapable of making a right decision.
