List of Yc Lin's Reviews
Dr. Lin is an EXCELLENT physician. I started with him on 2018, when I thought it would take a long long time for me to feeling well again, but NO it wouldn't! Dr. Lin started an aggressive treatment and close follow approach to my condition. He always explained, discussed and take into account my opinion. You know what? Treatment worked and it's been a long time since my condition has been under control. I love all my doctors, but Dr. Lin is my favorite one! God bless you Dr.????????
I've been seeing Dr. Yih Lin for a few years, I travel 90 minutes each way because the standard of care he provides is worth it. I have been to other rheumatologists but there is no comparison. Dr. Lin always asks questions, listens to my answers, then explains his thoughts very thoroughly. I am not wild about the laborious phone system at USF Health, so I've gotten used to the email LOL, it's not too bad. Dr. Lin's staff is responsive and helpful. Dr. Lin is the best in my opinion.
Poor. He was very abrupt with me, and told me that I did not have purpura, when I actually did, and was diagnosed with Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis. I gave him a copy of the pathology report on one of my past visits in 2015. I will never return to him.
By the time I was able to get into Dr. Lin, my vasculitis was out of control. He spent almost two hours with me as we combed through all the medical records and lab reports I brought in. He got me on the right track and since then I have only changed my medication once based on a reaction. He stays on top of my blood work, checking my RA markers, etc. he is extremely through and immediately provides information when he receives lab results. However, outside of Dr. Lin’s control is the USF portal which can be difficult to get to any doctor. Dr Lin’s staff does there very best to response as soon as possible.
Dr Lin is a wonderful physician however getting into to see him even as an established patient you have to wait over 7 months!!! It’s so ridiculous! I waited over 8 months to get into him as a new patient and now have to wait over 7 months as an established patient! No one should ever have to wait that long!!
Just saw Dr. Lin for my check up and to go over MRI results. I really like that he comes in the room sits down with me and my husband and explains everything to us. If there is something we do not understand he will make sure to print out information on that subject explaining it in full detail. He is always patient and kind with me. I never feel rushed when I'm speaking with him. I also like how at the end of each visit he gives you extra copies of what you have had done so you can give them to your other doctor's. My only issue with this doctor and it's not his fault it's the way USF operates is I do not like not being able to make phone calls to my doctor. I do not care for the whole emailing system. But other than that I do like Dr Lin he helped me get my life back after a point where I never thought I'd feel good again and for that I will always be grateful to this man.
Zero stars! I brought all of my records and CD's of images. Sero-negative RA. He doesn't believe in that. After 15 emails, struggles to get the lab and MRI he ordered done and results to him, the medical assistant sends me an email that he said to take some Advil as needed. Advil? Advil. If Advil helped, I wouldn't have gone to the doctor let alone a Rheumatologist. I just sent him a bill for $811. That's what he cost me in time, mileage, lost wages from work, copay, parking, my time faxing, refaxing, emails back and forth, and phone calls all to be told I don't have erosions in my C2 vertebrae or wrists so go take an Advil! Look at the reports "doctor". If you don't understand them, call a senior physician, the radiologist and pathologist who gave the report. That $811 bill is due immediately "doctor" Lin.
Terrible experience. Dr Lin came in for 5 minutes didn’t ask my symptoms didn't explain to me anything other then he was ordering labs. Ordered labs but the office only communicates through email which is once per day. Took me over a week to get a response for my results. My labs were low positive but still positive and with all my symptoms he wont treat me told me i need to see my primary. My primary keeps telling me I need to see a rhuemotologist because my condition can only be treated by one. Horrible would not reccommend and will never go back!
I just called for an appointment with this doctor on September and they said the next available is going to be on February, I was looking for the asap, I can be dead by then with this type of doctors
Waited three months for an appointment to have him spend 5 minutes with me look at my hand and say that I didn't have RA. I actually do have RA and I have the joint damage and blood work to prove it. He never did anything, no lab work nothing. Luckily I saw another doctor who actually tested me and is treating me. This guy should not be seeing anyone, he's a horrible doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
