My daughter and I both see Dr. Kumbkarni and travel from Sarasota and Fort Lauderdale to see him. He has been a Godsend. He takes his time at every visit and is genuinely caring, compassionate and very deliberate in his methodology. Through relentless testing, he found the cause of my daughter's issues (an ovarian dermoid cyst). No other physician, including her gynecologist, was able to determine the cause of her ailments. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Dr. Kumbkarni.

Dr. Kumbkarni is an excellent doctor with a compassionate and knowledgeable bedside manner. What I appreciated most is his intention to listen to my concerns and address them in a way that gave me peace of mind. He is kind and has a great sense of humor that puts you at ease. I am so happy to have found him since recently moving to Florida from Texas!

Dr. Kumbkarni is welcoming and calming. He is always polite, explains where we are with my care, and recommends what I could do better and what I am doing right. Dr. Kumbkarni is extremely knowledgeable and I trust his professional opinion.

My experience was with a nurse/practitioner, Dr Kumbkarni came in the room briefly to observe. Did not introduce himself, and left. I never heard back from them after my initial visit for 4+ weeks. I thought that they must've dropped me as a patient. I was surprised when they finally called me in for an appt. They fitted me with a Dexcom monitor and it allowed me to really get a handle on my numbers. I immediately brought them in being in goal 85% of the day. The goal was 70%! Unfortunately the monitor was only good for 10 days and they've been unable to get it approved for payment. Nobody even reviewed my 10 day stats. I came from having A1C of over 9.0 to being in range in less than a week! Silence. This is a sloppy practice with zero communication skills.

Absolutely recommend him. I called him at 1:30 on a Saturday night and he called me back. My sugar had spiked. He also called me back Sunday morning. So caring and knowledgeable.

I was referred by my PCP to this doctor! Over the course of a year and half I lost my thyroid, have Hashimoto’s an autoimmune disorder and thought I was going to die at 63. This doctor DOES NOT COMMUNICATE with patients. He has three nurse practitioners who do all the work . The one I saw was fresh out of school and had no idea what she was doing. Please, take my advice, GO DO YOUR research and find another Endocrinologist. DeLaPena is excellent but hard to get into. Trust me , worth the WAIT! Kumbkarni is bad for your health!

Dr Kumbkarni is an excellent endocrinologist. I've been to several endocrinologist and so far hes the best! My A1C is now on goal! Thanks to his expertise in managing Diabetes.

Dr. Kumbkarni is a wonderful physician. He and his staff are very professional, polite and attentive. They always listen to concerns and answer questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. They are very punctual and I have never felt rushed. Dr. Kumbkarni makes me feel comfortable and offers very thorough explanations. I would highly recommend! Thank you!

Dr. Kumbkarni said he would help me lower my A1C and he has done just that! I feel comfortable asking questions and discussing plans for my medical condition. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so. I like that the doctor and staff works well together, it makes for a very pleasant environment..
