Chris Mattey's Online Review Report Card

I was one of Dr. Mattey's first patients here and this is the second time I am praising her for her excellent care. I love everything about Dr. Mattey and every one of her staff! I am 72 and have a real problem with doctors who assume they know better than you do about how you feel, I'm old, not ignorant. Most of my doctors tried to bully me into getting shots and procedures that I didn't feel necessary, but doctor Mattey just accepts my strong faith in a higher power, not insisting I agree to do something I'm not comfortable with. I pray Dr. Mattey stays here as long as I am. Love to Dr. Mattey and all the nurses and receptionists.

Extremely rude and unhelpful do not want to help. Called just for some information lady was rude and disrespectful. Told me that I will not be there patient. Will be reporting to BBB and health department. Zero starts if you do not want to service someone you and reject them professionally. Was hung up on.

This doctor is extremely unhelpful. The last three times I took my grandmother she wouldn’t even see her. She just prescribed some medication based on the nurses observations. After a hospitalization it turns out my grandmother had an infection for 4 months!!!! If she had taken the time to see her we could have avoided the hospitalization. When I confronted her she told me just to go find another doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Mattey for several years. She is the Best doctor I have ever had! She is very compassionate, very thorough, very good listener, and the very Best doctor. I love her because she is always looking out for me and wants only the best health for me. Excellent in every way!

I have been seeing Dr. Mattey for several years. As time went on she became more and more rude and disrespectful. On my last visit she told me I did not have to come to her and a concierge (private) doctor. I cannot recommend her.

A Genuinely caring Doctor, I feel lucky to be her patient & her staff is Wonderful always.

I recently moved to Palm Harbor Florida from Michigan and began hunting for a physician. I began my hunt by searching My Humana portal where I discovered Dr. Mattey's information. I called to set up the first consultation and was treated kindly by the receptionist. I set up my first meet-up and found Dr. Mattey very professional and interested in me as an individual. I am very satisfied with her office staff as well. Thank you, Dr. Mattey and your team.

If posting 0 stars was an option that is what I would have chosen. I am in search of a new PCP and recently moved to a new area. This doctor has great reviews and is close to my new house. Upon calling, the lady I spoke with was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I told her which insurance I had and she basically said go somewhere else because we are booked out until May. Well I am just trying to get in somewhere and don't care that it's that far out. She said I have commercial insurance and can go where ever I want. There was a reason I was calling them and I did my research. Apprarently I was wrong for even trying. For anyone trying to schedule with them. please don't waste your time.

She is so caring, patient and informative. I never felt rushed or uncaring from her.

I really love the staff they are so helpful and so kind. Dr Mattey has really helped me with a lot of issues that I have going on with myself and my husband as well. If you are not feeling well and you go see them or call them they will call to see how things are going and see if anything else is needed.
