List of Heather Neeley's Reviews
I told Dr. Neeley that I believed I had bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder and she ignored me and continued to give me antidepressants. This caused a host of problems, including pushing me into psychosis.
DANGEROUS DOCTOR! APPROACH WITH EXTREME CAUTION! Please be very careful and try to avoid taking your loved ones to this UNPROFESSIONAL "DOCTOR". Most of these reviews are spot on. Ms. Heather Neeley is very combative and extremely confrontational. She demands answers for intrusive questions that are being asked against your will and becomes extremely angry and aggressive if you are not comfortable or choose not to answer her disrespectful and intrusive questions. She will then begin yelling at you if you do not agree with her (Very Scary!). Ms. Heather Neeley will not give you the opportunity to be heard and she will also walk out on you as a patient. Ms. Neeley also works at the Department of Veterans Affairs at Bay Pines and she treats Veterans there the same way if not worse, these are Veterans that are seeking help and suffering from combat related PTSD, I am disgusted by Ms. Heather Neeleys treatment for our Veterans and how confrontational she is to our Veterans, there has been many complaints filed against her in this facility as well. She will jeapordize your recocery and treatment. For a mental health Doctor she cannot control her behavior and emotions with others. I would encourage every person that has had this same experience with her to file and register a complaint against her to the Medical Board and state medical licensing authority, this process is very simple please don't be scared to do so. Something needs to be done to keep this "DOCTOR" far away from our Veterans and loved ones. Heather Neeley AKA The landmine on your road to recovery.

Outstanding physician. Great location as well. Couldn't ask for anyone better to serve our community
I wouldn't recommend. She is incredibly confrontational. After reading the last comment, I finally decided I should leave a review. I completely agree, her attitude was abrasive, and she tried to tell me I was the confrontational one. I had a bad feeling from the start, but thought I would give her a try. I went for 2 or 3 appointments, then slammed the door and walked out. I never went back.
Help! Does anyone know how to get patient records from Dr. Neeley? I last saw her a year ago and now that I've recently started with a new Psychiatrist, I've discovered she has closed her practice. Most Drs are either associated with a larger health group or leave a forwarding number for record retrieval, but nothing from her - just a disconnected phone. Very unprofessional. I have no way of getting the psychological eval she did on me which is required before my new Psychiatrist will prescribe my meds. Now I have to pay more $$ and wait longer to see a Psychologist first. Ugh...
This doctor severely overmedicated me. When she upped a few of the medications, He asked which one help with the anxiety and which one help me with the depression. I said I didn’t know and that she was a doctor. She flipped out on me. I continue to go back and I want to Katie and she ranted about the state of the United States and said she wanted to move to Canada. On another meeting when I went back after being stripped off all medication because I had a baby, she told me I probably shouldn’t of had kids in first place because of my mental diagnosis. She was mid divorce but that’s not the patients fault! I found a new doctor who put me on one low-dose medication instead of six and I am doing well.
Worst dr ever.
I would not recommend this womans presence to anyone.
Where to begin? I've been taking my son here for almost a year, and we are in the middle of the IEP process for him as well. lnitially the Dr. struck me as a bit abrasive, but I chalked it up to the field that she's in, people she deals with, etc. We showed up to our son's appt a few weeks ago to find out that our insurance company had more than doubled the copay; it went from $12 to $41. I was thrown back as we hadn't been notified by the insurance nor even a courtesy call from her office; I'm retired army. So, we have Tricare Prime. We left as we couldn't afford the payment. Well, I go in today to sign a release form for the school psychologist in regards to the IEP, and she's asking $40 for that to be done. Then she turns around and says that she needs to see him in order to fill the form out, because it's been 4 months; our appt we had to leave from was at the 3 month mark. So, that would put me at having to pay $30 for the appt we left and $30 for a new appt. There were other patients waiting. So, I asked the clerk if she'd leave a note asking Dr. Neeley to please allow us to pay the past due $30 on the first, and give me a call to let me know; I get my VA disability once monthly. Another patient in the office overhead everything, and bless her, she offered to pay the past due amount so that we could make a new appt. The clerk processed the payment, we set an appt for tomorrow, and I thanked this lovely woman that helped us immensely. I then proceeded to my son's school to get the assessment forms completed so that everything would be in order for the appointment. Upon arriving home I noticed a missed call and voicemail left. The Dr. advised her clerk to kick back the payment that was made by the other lady, and then said that "due to the behavior in the office today she'd like us to find another doctor". Mind you, I was not disrespectful in the least. I'm simply a mother trying to advocate for her son, and a veteran having a very hard time financially. This woman apparently does not care about human beings, period. More so, her pocket book. I'm in utter disbelief. As someone that has my 4 year degree in psyc, and about to embark upon the next level of education, I'm getting into this field, because I actually care and want to make a difference. Point to all of this, save your time and money, and find someone else that will actually care and remember who YOU are no matter how many patients that they see. This lady is not it. My feelings are legit crushed as I only sought help for my son, and now, I'm left having to begin all over again with no idea where to start.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
