Highly recommend Dr Nick . Best Dr ever. I have Major depression, anxiety and PTSD and she's been the only one to help me and listen to me. She helps me out so much. Just wish I could email her personally with issues instead of telling staff them playing phone when major issues but by end of day Dr Nick takes care of it. She's only Dr to keep me going.
Never felt so uncared about My phone wasn’t working online appointment never was able to get to her online to get checked no call the rest of day tried to call never answered phone never called me back so no refills on my medication my home health care lady tried to help me she also had no luck we tried for 1 hour
Doctor Irene is a wonderful doctor. She treated my husband for years who recently passed away , her and her office staff were always so kind and helpful and I really appreciate the way they treated Erik..
My family has been using Dr. Nickolakis for years. I have read some of the negative Google reviews and all I can say is I have never had a problem with her or her office staff. Whenever I have had to leave a message, Dr. Nickolakis herself has always returned my call same day whether she is in the office or not. She does take certain insurance and requires cash or check payment for any co-payment or amounts due, which she is very up front about. She has always taken the time to listen to any issues and give advice and counseling, but does not push you to talk if you do not want to. Overall, a very good doctor who I would recommend to any friends or family. Perhaps the problems people encounter with her or her office staff have to do with the patient's attitude and demeanor.
Grievance Filed 2hrs before my appointment I was told that my insurance doesn't cover outpatient care & I'd have to pay $200. I contacted my insurance company & was told I do have outpatient care coverage & only need prior auth. I contacted the office to let them know & was told they would have to call me back. I filed a grievance with the insurance Co advising them on what this provider is doing. Believe the bad reviews & low health scores for this provider.
Due to an insurance issue, she refused to talk to my pharmacy who just needed her permission to deliver the medication I needed to my house. She never answered according to my pharmacy and when I called I overheard her saying “I’m not calling the pharmacy.” One quick call and I could have gotten one medication. Instead I went through a week of withdrawals and obviously switched doctors. Avoid this place, all she cares about is pushing meds, and not really listening to your issue.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Nickolakis for almost 15 years. She’s very attentive, takes detailed notes and gives me the best information available to me. I would recommend her to any of my family members.
The best
Unhappy Patient Because of location I used her for over 10 years. Until she fired me as a patient for no reason I found a new shrink and found out she was over medicating me. She had made my next appointment then a day or two later her office manager called and said they no longer accept my insurance which I found out was a lie. It was almost impossible to get my records from her. My primary care dr had to threaten them to get my records. I have zero co pays for anything with my insurance and one time she said i have a $3 copay and I said no I don't so the office manager changed it to I had to pay a fee. I didn't have any cash on me and had to reschedule appt over $3 I never owed to begin with. Both office mangers she had were very mean and talked down to patients. All they care about are the $$$.
Knowing Dr. Irene Nickolakis personally since 1977, she is definitely an excellent physician who personally cares about her patients. She is humble, generous and goes above and beyond. Her father was my calculus teacher. As a health care professional myself, I highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
