He saved my life with emergency surgery to repair a ruptured umbilical hernia. At the time I was on a wait list for an organ transplant at another hospital and the results of this surgery were crucial. His excellent surgery assisted me in receiving a successful organ transplant a year later and now a healthy life. I am very appreciative of his skills as a surgeon and highly recommend.

My experience with this doctor and team has been extremely positive each and every time I interact with any of them in any situation. From the first time I had to call and make an appointment to this past visit which was an emergency type visit…the friendliness and the comforting nature of everyone I interact with is amazing . I specifically want to shout out Laura…you are such a thoughtful and caring person. Thank you all.

Dr. Mascarenhas did a good job with my surgery but he isn’t a good communicator. 2-5 minutes in the exam room and no communication prior to surgery. Office staff lovely.

is a very poor surgeon, he did much a poor job on me he sent me down to Orlando to a friend to cover up what he did. if i could give less then one star i would. stay far away.

Don't be his next victim. He botched my husband surgery and as a result of his negligence my husband almost bled to death at home. My husband has had 2 major surgeries in less than a month plus a repair to stop the bleeding. I wouldn't send anyone this doctor's way

The best! After a horrible experience with a different Oncologist team that went on for 10 weeks, I went for a second opinion. THE best decision I ever made. His staff is warm and welcoming. Everything went smoothly, I didn't have to worry about anything but showing up. Thank you to Laura for putting up with my endless phone calls and putting my mind at ease when there was a big issue with the Home Health agency nurse. Dr. Mascarenhas did a wonderful job with the surgery ! Tiny incisions, and no deformity to my breast!!

Prompt, professional and empathetic. I work in health care in this area. So when my husband was in he need of a surgeon, I contacted Dr. Mascarenhas’s office. From the moment I spoke with Suzanne we were made a prompt appointment, Laura provided such amazing clinical care for my husband. She also extends empathy, assurance and support That I so desperately needed. For anyone facing an illness that requires surgery. Dr. Mascarenhas is not only caring, he is brilliant and professional. My husband is now home recovering thanks to this team of professionals in our corner. This office is a blessing to all the community in Lake county. I highly recommend their services.
