I love Dr Mayne! It took me a while to find someone as knowledgeable and thorough as she is. She makes sure you are taken care of, squeezes you in for an appointment no matter how busy she is. She has even performed a miracle birth for my daughter. I DEFINITELY recommend her with more than 5 ⭐️ Thank You Dr. Mayne for going above and beyond expectations!
She did such a great job Im a first time mom so that was scary enough but add to it had to have a c section and baby came earlier than expected 😅 was all crazy but she was amazing and there is barely a scare!!! Baby girl Lilly just turned two and I'm so thankfully for the whole experience although I'm super curious as to which type of tubal ligation was done after my c section? 🤔
I love the doctors. Dr. Keeler delivered my son and she is absolutely great. The downside is that you can NEVER get through to the office on the phones, the staff never answers the phone and never returns phone calls when you leave a message. It is quite frustrating, they say leave a message on the patient portal, which that doesn't even work all the time and when it does they are very slow to respond through that as well, besides sometimes you just need to talk to someone, who wants to keep emailing through the patient portal about stuff. Its really bad because the doctors are great, but a person will refrain from going to this office just for the lack of being able to properly get through to the office in their time of need. I live all the way in Ocala and was going to this office, I had to talk to staff concerning a matter and because you can never get through to the office I had to get up and drive to the office 3 days post op to take care of an issue that could have easily been taken care of over the phone had they answered their phonelines. This issue is very frustrating and apparently looking at other reviews has been an issue for quite some time.
Dr. Mayne was very impatient with every visit during pregnancy. She seemed distracted when I talked to her. I went to Waterman and was thinking about having her break my membranes and said I needed a moment with my husband. I had also expressed concerns about not wanting a c-section. When I said I needed a moment to talk to my husband, she said, "Oh, you're just scared of everything. I won't do it." She laughed about it to another staff member. She walked out without another word. Completely taking away my choice. I cried in my car, and my husband and I were angry she treated me that way. I was just nervous, as I had never had my membranes stripped. It seemed like wanting to discuss with my husband was a catastrophic waste of her time. Day of delivery, I said I didn't want an episiotomy. She said, "I will do it if I have to". Even after I expressed my non-consent. She treated my concerns and feelings as a joke, I was not listened to, I was not cared about, I was laughed at in front of medical staff, and not treated with any form of respect.
I knew i had a problem and being new to the area had a problem finding an Ob/Gyn. My appointment was cancelled and rescheduled 4 times. Had to wait almost 2 months to get in. Finally got in and was told i had to come back to get a biopsy done. Begged to have it done at that time and with much huffing and puffing she finally did did one. Had another appointment the next week to find results. That too was cancelled, and was told "Babies You know". Finally got a call and the doctor actually said "Your test came back positive, you have cancer. Find an Ob/Gyn Oncologist. I don't know if you will need chemo or radiation or what they will do". Then hung up. No sympathy. No compassion, Nothing. Do i recommend her no. Plus, i had requsted another Doctor in this office and they changed me to her without my knowledge!
wish they could get their phones fixed !!! But love Dr Mayne!!
I have been seeing Dr. Rogers at this office my whole adult life for my annuals. I love her and wish she would have delivered my son. That being said, I don't think I'll use this office for any future pregnancies. I feel like I was NEVER listened to during the whole experience. Like most OBGYNs (I assume) they are set in their ways and not open to a natural birth experience. I wanted to avoid many things that I did the research on and educated myself to make the decision to not participate. Unfortunately, Dr. Mayne was not on board with my decisions. She particularly did not like the fact that I had hired a Doula. I was TWO days late (according to my due date) and was told they needed to run tests to check up on my baby. I was made to lay on my side to run monitoring. My baby's heart rate apparently was showing drops that they believed we needed to induce labor. These drops never happened again when I was moved to a labor room and no longer laying on my side. Dr. Mayne broke my water and advised me we would see how I progressed and try to avoid pitocin. 3 hours later she was trying to push pitocin when I had contractions going just not strong ones. I had to stand my ground over SEVERAL talks with the nurse (never personally talked to Dr. Mayne during this process) to avoid the pictocin. Luckily, she backed off and my contractions increased and labor began. When it was timed to push, I was forced to lay on my back (I wanted to squat instead) and then was forced to get an episotomy (When i wanted to naturally tear). Unfortunately, I think Dr. Mayne is set in her ways and was opposed to any other kind of birth than the one she wanted. I just wish she had more consideration for the individuals wants. (Dont get my wrong - medical intervention can be necessary - which is why I went with an OB and wanted to be at a hospital - but I felt Dr. Mayne jumped to these interventions because "thats just the way its done").
Dr. Mayne is professional, thorough and shows she cares about me as a patient. I am so grateful to have found such a great doctor so soon after moving to the area. Also, the nurse, Tamara, was detailed and caring.
My daughter in law has been a patient for the term of her pregnancy. This office specifically Dr. Mayne has horrible. They do not care about their patients at all. Up until her last few weeks she has not had any issues with her pregnancy and has not bothered them with anything, but now that she has they just blow her off and show no kindness or compassion. She has needed to speak to the dr or a nurse on several occasions and their phones never work. You cannot reach them when you need to. During her latest appointment they blew her off when she asked for the results of the tests they made her go take. She asked the directly and nothing was addressed. When she got her bp checked it was really high. They did one recheck and it came in slightly lower. They said they needed to check it again but never did. I'm not sure why a doctor would practice in a field where they seem to hate their job.
I’d love a call back also… been weeks of trying. Even my PCP can’t get threw ….

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
