MIchael W Fountain's Online Review Report Card

The other day I had to call into the office with a question. I went on and pushed the button for the care team for Dr Fountain. The phone was answered after one ring. I was so surprised. (I usually have to leave a message). Dominique from the call center was able to help me regarding a med issue. She was on the phone with me a long time and we were able to solve the problem. I was delighted with the knowledge that the call center can do more then make appointments.

This Doctor is The VERY BEST THERE IS ....PERIOD

Was very impressed with Dr. Fountain's care while I was in the hospital. He visited me first thing in the morning, which reduced waiting time considerably. His questions were on target, and his manner was kind and caring. His office followed up the next day, as promised, and I am feeling very well. I truly appreciate his efforts to be cheerful, while still taking my condition seriously.

Initially I really liked Dr Fountain and his staff. As time went on I felt like my condition was not being properly treated. The fact that my reoccurring condition kept me constantly on antibiotics, was tiresome and making my health worse. The deterioration of the staff was quite evident . Telephone calls were thrown to the wayside and needed reports never found their intended destinations. Upon see an infectious disease doctor is only when I found healing. The final straw was going to quest for a psa test and the paperwork not being in place from their office. I'm glad I made this decision to find another Dr.

Both my husband and I have been to see Dr. Fountain. He explains the issues clearly and prescribed treatment for us both that was successful. Kind, caring, and excellent doctor.

I would critique Dr. Fountains service and experience but I never got to see Dr. Fountain, not even on my initial visit. I was seeing Dr Gordon in the Villages but left her after some bad experiences and bad diagnosis for prostate cancer. I was hoping by going to Dr Fountains clinic that my opinions would be changedbut after4 visits I never saw Dr Fountain just his assistant. Just hit and miss with new prescriptions that brought no results. Would not recommend this Doctor.

Dr. Fountains Staff is condescending and incompetent in every way! When bring it to Dr. Fountains attention to make him aware of this problem, he took the position that i used profanity with his office staff, which in no shape or form did this happened. As for an urologist, i felt his skills were moderate and reading Blood labs is not his strength. After our last conversation it looks like the tail wags the dog, he has lost complete control over his office staff, and I would avoid this provider at all cost!

Advent health is terrible. I do not recommend any doctor or practice that is owned by them. You are much better off with Orlando health. You cannot talk to your doctors office. You can call and leave a message with an answering service. In addition, their medical procedures are the reason the patients choose different practices. Of course, agents being rude on the phone is a standard for them. The pace is slow and the paperwork is always lost, misplaced or orders are not fulfilled as expected. Stay away. One upside, is when you see the doctor, he is very nice. Most likely because he is very highly paid. :))
