List of Ronald Roth's Reviews
Who could imagine a Gastroenterologist saying that asking him questions about fiber was a waste of both our times? Switching to another Gastroenterologist, I was fortunate to have the simple test that diagnosed my problem, but had never occurred to Dr. Roth to administer. He hides behind his secretary, who always seems to tell people to avoid dairy, thinking that everybody is lactose, intolerant – – when they are not. Dr. Roth presents as a nice person, but the façade can quickly dissolve into hostility. His hostility is matched by his secretary, who is usually having a bad day, as noted by lab employees having to communicate with her when she can’t get her fax machine to work.
Dr Roth has a great sense of humor! He explained everything to me that I needed to know on how to prepare for the procedure. The actual procedure was done at a different location. He came out after the procedure and showed me a color photo of the pollup he removed and happily answered all my questions. The staff were all professional and friendly.
great doctor wife and i have been with him for years highly recommend
I would go to no where else. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and caring.
I would highly recommend Dr. Roth. I had been putting off a colonoscopy for years. My primary care doctor had been encouraged me to get one over and over since my mother had colon cancer until I finally relented and chose Dr. Roth. He is such a good doctor and good bed side manner with a touch of humor putting you at ease. I highly recommend him and his office staff. Both were so caring and went over the prep instructions thoroughly. Had my colonoscopy this morning and it went well, I was in and out before I knew it.
Dr. Roth is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is very caring and takes so much time to be with you. He doesn't rush you. I've never had a doctor come to the waiting room to get you.. He is very personable and caring.
I was Dr. Roth first appointment of the day and yet he was still 25 minutes late. That is unacceptable to me. Unfortunately I am one of the 25% that do not have a successful cleanse prior to a colonoscopy. I followed his instructions to the T. As soon as I woke up he came into my recovery room and proceeded to berate me for not having a successful cleanse. Something I had nothing to do with. I've since learned that there were options; one of them being to administer a colonic while I was still under the propofol effects. He did not do that. He told need to come back within 2 to 3 weeks to redo the procedure. The area of my colon that he was able to see was clear. I will definitely be finding a different gastroenterologist as I did not at all care for his bedside manner nor his inaction of completing a successful colonoscopy by not taking the extra step and giving me a colonic.
They appear to be only interested if you have insurance, being a self pay they said they would call me back, never did and when I called they said just go with the other doctor if that's his price because ours would be more. In other words, could care less about your health and helping you (including price) but more about money.
I have had Dr Roth do 2 Colonoscopys on me, very satisfied with him and his staff. The only place to go for this for me, very satisfied
Thankfully Dr. Roth has a sense of humor which is something needed when you are in his field of medicine. I have recommended him to numerous friends and none have regretted changing to his office for their gastro work.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
