My mother underwent hip replacement surgery with this doctor. I had a very bad feeling about the surgery but was assured that my mother would be fine. She was dead less than 3 weeks later. Choose your surgeons carefully, please.

What a sweetheart he is! He listened to what I had to say about what was going on with me , when I was done he smiled, nodded his head & told me what it was & what he was going to do to fix my problem. Staff was friendly & efficient. He’s on my insurance favorite list now.

if i could i would give not even a 1. The first time i went dr guru was awesome very pleasant staff not so much. Had no pain for 4 months. started getting pain back in shoulder and scheduled an appt dr guru wasnt available so i got the other dr not so pleasant. He did something to my shoulder. The staff is very unprofessional and very rude. They told me i couldn't play musical dr's. i will not be going back there and that is sad that they represent advent health.

If you question their tactics or disagree with them, they will actually yell at you over the phone. If you continue to disagree, they may even call the cops to your house for a "wellness check" as retaliation.

I have a broken wrist since Tuesday and was referred to Dr. Guru by the urgent care center I went to. I have called once or twice a day every day since then. I’ve always been told that the receptionist would check the doctor’s schedule and get back to me. Not one person has done so. I have a great deal of pain and just don’t understand the lack of response.

I tore a quad set muscle in my right leg and needed surgery within a 4 day period.The staff an the doctor made sure I got that surgery done on time with all the prior test as well .then they set me up for a good theropy session from home an 6 weeks after Good doctor

I went to Dr. gurus Office yesterday for an appointment that had already previously been set up by the doctor when he did my shoulder surgery. My sister-in-law went with me and she had the same date and time in her phone as I had in mind as she was with me when they gave me the date. The stitches had already been taken out and I was just going in for a check up and just start therapy. The woman at the front desk was terrible. She told us that we did not I did not have an appointment and the appointment I had was for six weeks later. We told her that he told us this date this time and waiting another six weeks would not be good. She did not care she said it was too bad and we made the mistake not them. I walked out I am now looking for another orthopedic surgeon to try and get me scheduled for my therapy. I hope that Dr. guru read this and maybe he can take care of the situation as long as I don’t have to see her again. My sister-in-law Debbie Oberly was with me and she can confirm at all and she is also a patient of Dr. guru since I was her husband

So far so good!! My son injured his knee two weeks ago, was worried he may have re-torn ligaments in his knee. I was a very worried and concerned mother, Mariah at the front desk has went above and beyond to get us in on an expedited appt, got our script for an MRI and a follow up to read results all in a matter of a couple days. Unfortunately it is torn ligaments and we must have surgery once again **sigh** But Dr. Guru made us feel very comfortable about a few topics already in comparison to his first experience 5 years ago and said we would get in as soon as possible as that is what my son wants to do so he can start recovery process. Dr. Guru’s office told us we would receive a call 2-3 days with surgery date but they called within a couple hours with that date. We will have surgery in a few weeks and I’ll more and likely update this! So far so good with our new orthopedic office!

My troublel was not with a physician was with a receptionist I was 30 minutes late because they never reminded me an appointment and they they denied my appointment I will never go back there never met the Dr
