The staff at Lake Eye Associates was so thorough in all their exams and tests given to me. Dr. Wehrly explains everything that he is doing and in terms a patient can understand. Dr. Wehrly took his time to answer any and all questions and concerns I had about my eye injury. I never had the feeling of being rushed in and out. This team really cares about their patients.

I had something in my eye. I called up Lake Eye Care the first time but Dr. Weheyl was unavailable, so I was directed to another Ophthalmologist. She examined my eyes and prescribed some eye drops. I went back to see her a few days later. My eye was better but it still felt like there was something it it and I told her so. She said that she saw nothing and to keep putting in the drops. The next morning I could not open my eye. I called Lake Eye care again and insisted on seeing Dr. Wehrly. The "made room" for me late morning. When I saw Dr Wehrly, he said he saw something and flushed out my eye. Prescribed different drops. Within 2 days my eyes were back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Wehrly.

Overall, very pleased with the total experience. Dr Wehrly was very informative and took his time explaining the procedure with me. My only complaint was the 45 minute wait beyond my appointment time. I suppose, however, explaining all procedures in detail to every patient may slow down your day.

I was a surgical nurse for many years and watched Dr Wehrly do eye surgeries many times. I am also his patients, and he will be doing my cataract surgeries. I have the utmost respect and faith in his capabilities and feel totally comfortable with him taking care of me.
