Valerie Thomas's Online Review Report Card

Just had our first visit and absolutely loved Dr. Thomas! Our newborn is 6 days old and she answered every question we had and was very informative, knowledgeable and made sure we knew everything we needed to know about our newborn before leaving her office! Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great pediatrician.

Dr Thomas is very professional and courteous. She spends as much time as needed, doesn’t rush and answers any questions you have. Clean office and good staff.

Dr. Thomas is great!!! Our children love her! She is very down to earth. She doesn't talk down to me or make me feel small. She always has time for questions and never makes us feel rushed. She ALWAYS calls us back right away after hours if we have an emergency. Jennifer is great too!! She always fits us in at the last minute. This is the best pediatric office that we have ever been to. I trust them completely!

Have sent my kids to her for approx 4 yrs. Have had an ok experience. Dr Thomas is very friendly & kind. I have had issues that other drs had to see my kids for that Dr Thomas dismissed like cancker sores for a solid yr & dentist had to prescribe meds bc Dr Thomas wouldn't even though it hurt her all the time to eat or brush her teeth & was consistent. That's 1 example. The main problem I had was the nurse Jennifer always being cold, expressionless, unpersonable, rude & patronizing. Literally every visit. There were also times she cld have helped w/ simple things like calling in a prescription for head lice instead of telling me I wld have to make an appointment & bring her in even though she had just been seen & dr found bites on her scalp. Its freaking headlice are you kidding me?!? That takes a drs diagnosis?? She didnt do a great job finding them when she had the chance. Jennifer barked at my teen daughter for signing herself in while I got my baby out of her carseat. I had to sign her in. Petty!! Those are just 2 examples. I stopped bringing them when they were sick instead we went to the minute clinic and avoided her office other than checkups & have now found a new pediatrician to switch to. I am editing to add that Jennifer apparently didnt like my review so she chose to not send records to thier new dr for about 2 1/2-3 mo. I couldn't figure out why i hadn't gotten new patient appointments yet. I called Jennifer she told me she sent them a wk ago because thats when they submitted the request LIE not only had she NOT sent them they requested them the 2 1/2 - 3mo prior. She then decided to send them after my call. I guess that was my payback for my HONEST review.

I wouldn’t take my daughter anywhere else!!!!

It’s was tough for us as new parents because you don’t know what you don’t know. She was recommended to us highly by friends that we trust. Dr. Thomas and her staff are very professional, thorough, thoughtful and great with our kids.

Dr. Thomas was my children's doctor from the time we moved to town 20 years ago until they were grown. She is still my son's doctor because he is 17. She has always been AMAZING with her diagnosis and treatment of my children. She was swift, accurate and very knowledgeable in so many situations over the years and so good with the kids. We're so thankful and trusting of her that even after we moved away from town we travel back when we have a special situation because we are confident she will be key to achieving the best outcome.

Excellent doctor. Straight forward but caring. She makes herself accessible even during non business hours.

Dr. Thomas is an amazing doctor! I first met her when my premie baby girl was born and I wanted nothing but the best doctor. She is by far the best I could ask for. She always gets us in, even when I call last minute. She has always been correct with treatments for my children! She is a book of knowledge and very compassionate. I would definitely recommend Dr.Thomas! The office staff is also helpful and always willing to accommodate.

All three of my children have been seeing her since birth (oldest is 11). She is a wonderful Doctor who always makes time for then anytime there is an issue.
