I did not have a positive experience. He performed surgery on my foot that resulted in permanent nerve damage which he never told me ahead of time. Because he took 1/2 inch off my calcaneus bone, I lean backwards, cannot walk barefoot, put orthotics in every shoe, wear shoes all the time, even in the shower. My subtalar joint has suffered and made my foot unstable. Because of this I fell resulting in an injury that required cervical spine surgery. This doctor has answer for everything, goes back on what he told you in the first place and doesn't seem concerned about your welfare. Many of my visits included trainees that he spoke to like I wasn't there. My foot problem has led to lower back and hip problems. When choosing a doctor, hopefully you can trust them, unfortunately they can ruin your life as you once knew it. After all this, I requested his signature on a form so I could get a disabled person parking permit because walking causes too much pain. He wouldn't sign it!!!!

No, No and NO! He never showed up to even look at me in the hospital until I was bieng discharged without a trauma surgery that was recommended by another physician. when he did show up- he refused to go over a CT scan that "he alledgedly ordered" that was ready while I was an inpatient, he stated that I would have to wait to discuss the plan until I went to his office, which is in another county an hour from my home. ( I obviously could not drive) - so that posed a serious issue for me , he then stated my social issues were not his problem. He insisted he couldnt discuss my CT results in the hospital ?. confusing becasue everything was ready and right there at his disposal , but instead he made me find a ride the next day after discharge- in extreme pain, and come to his private office to discuss the fact I had a serious broken ankle 3 bones down ,and I could not have surgery for 3 more weeks? . Found another surgeon - feeling great! (MYMOSTAwful experience. 2busy2care)

Best of the best! He did my right foot Osteotomy and bunion removal about 8 yrs ago. Perfection! He will be doing my left foot hammer toe this fall. Excellent care awesome staff! Would not let anyone else touch my feet!!!

Dr Herscovici is rare he has a wonderful bedside manner and unbelievably good at what he does. He took me from barely able to walk to completely walking with minimal pain

I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone. He is extremely condescending when answering questions. Such as when I asked him what the surgery would entail he answered stuff lots of stuff. It's only when I continued to push for a more specific answer he rambled some long name and didn't even write it down for me. I could go on and on. Just go to someone else!!!!!!!

I saw the dr today 11-14-19 at the bone and joint center Hudson . Drove a hour to get a eval on right foot . MRI they ordered showed splits/tears . . 1. He fakes his tests for range . After my foot was turning blue he asked me to move it left to right . I could slightly , so he moves it with his hand and records false results . He wrote down no issues with stability . Yet he never asked me to stand and move . I brought in the boot that stabilizes my foot so I can work. He doesn’t even ask the X-ray nurses if I could stand barefoot without help. I fell fwd touching a hot machine and needed help to jump up on wooden stools . 2 . States I don’t need pain patches that allow me to work Despite the company he works for ordering them so I could return to work. No bed side manner , had no back bone sent in nurse to Tel me you are out of luck ,deal with the pain. I made complaint to the head of office . I am writing to the medical board , and printing off the tons of horrible reviews . And if his advice ever results in worse injury I am suing him for mal practice . He is a whack job a voodoo priest has better bedside manner and medical knowledge then him . Jeannine D

Today I met him . During a foot test for range my foot could not move far . So he moved the foot and took inaccurate measurements . He wrote no instability issues , never asked me to stand . Never asked the X-ray techs if I was stable lurched twice fwd barefoot . Ignores mri results and says it’s just mild . Then takes my pain patches away that allow me to work ‘!!!!! I’m taking this issue to the board .

This man completely screwed up and botched a left ankle and leg surgery on me. Caused permanent nerve damage inserting screws directly into my perineal and superficial nerves. I had ripped myofascial tissue that had to be fixed and finally had to have a new dr remove the plates and screws. I was forced to drop a malpractice suit against him and to this day it infuriates me he never once checked to see how the situation was. Avoid at all costs, he is absolute trash.
