I can’t relate to the negative reviews. We truly appreciate Dr Irizarry and her staff. ESPECIALLY DEE!!! My son has been a patient for 5 years battling EoE. We’ve had to deal with multiple scopes, medication routes, elimination diets and now battling with insurance companies over covering the only medication that gives him the freedom to eat regular foods! We will stick with their office until he ages out.

Excelente doctora

Horrible experience with this doctor and the office. When talking to her she made us feel as if she had better things to do. She cut my daughter off when trying to explain what was wrong. Office manager was unprofessional and lied to us. Choose another office if you need a GI doctor for your child.

Dr. Irizarry came here today at St. Joseph children's hospital to see my son to look at his tube and she listened to our concerns and she is very good woth my son even tho she is not his GI doctor but im comfortable with her than his GI doctor dr. Beltroy and i think she will be a good GI doctor for my son axel. She made sure that the silver nitrate dried on his skin and she was very concerned about him than his regular GI doctor. I want her to be his GI doctor

We had a very positive experience with Dr. Irizarry and her office. From our first appointment they took the time to sit down & listen to us as well as providing a thorough exam. Dr. Irizarry tried to troubleshoot with a holistic approach before jumping in to a procedure. In the end we did end up with a procedure and she was very caring and patient with my child. In addition, the hospital she works with had a amazing staff that really made us at ease. I would definitely recommend Dr. Irizarry's office for GI issues.

Although my appt with the doctor was ok…some of the staff are awful - they have no idea of how to treat patients with respect. One staff member rolled her eyes at me with attitude when trying to book a followup appointment.

The doctor is fine if you have a high tolerance for a lot of mistakes . Her knowledge of celiac disease is limited. The office staff is atrocious. Dr irizarry and her staff repeatedly ordered the wrong labs and were so incredibly unhelpful in resolving their mistake, bordering unethical. Go somewhere else, even if more inconvenient.

La Dr. Karina Irizarry ha sido parte importante en la recuperacion de mi hijo Daryel. El fue diagnosticado con Colitis cronica ulcerativa, hace ya varios yrs. Ha sido un proceso muy dificil para la familia, pero le damos gracias a Dios por tener ala Dr.Irizarry como medico especialista en Gastro. Siempre ha sido super atenta con nosotros, explicandonos con claridad y sinceridad de cada examen medico o procedimiento medico relacionado ala salud de mi hijo. Dr.Irizarry, gracias infinitas por toda tu paciencia y comprension, gracias por siempre ofresernos un abrazo para darnos fuerzas en seguir luchando en mejorar la salud de Daryel. We love Dr. Irizarry. She has been excellent through the diagnosis of my son's dairy allergy. The staff has always been extremely polite & helpful as well.
