Felix Agbo's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Agbo for over 8 years, since I moved to THE VILLAGES. I am extremely happy with Dr Agbo and his staff. Easy to make appointments, always ready to help me. I would recommend Dr Agbo if you are looking for a primary doctor.

I saw Dr Agbo at the hospital after an emergency admission. He was VERY personable and communicated my condition very well. At discharge he stressed how important it was for him to follow up with me within a week. He told me to tell his office staff this when I called to schedule this follow up. I called 3 days in a row and was finally told they'd reach me. They never did. I went back to my home state to see my primary care.

I have been on three appointments at different days of week and different times of day. This last appointment was the final straw. In the previous two appointments I have waited in the exam room for the physician more than 30 minutes. I was always told that the office is running behind because of previous patients(overbooked?) This last time appt was for 12:00 at 12:45 after sitting in exam room for 45 minutes with no communication from the staff I inquired the whereabouts of the physician. He was not even in the building yet. The nurse estimated that it would be another 30-45 minutes before I would be seen. I was never informed of any delays upon checking in at 12:00. Why does this physician and office staff believe their time is more valuable than mine. I was also told that this is how it is at ALL physician offices in the villages. (LOL) Time management and overbooking seems to be an issue for this office.

When my husband and first started seeing Dr. Agbo, we had no problem making an appointment or getting a prescription refilled. Now that this practice has grown (with two more doctors), one has to actually go to the office to make an appointment or get prescriptions refilled. I had a urine culture done due to a UTI. Two weeks later, I finally got a phone call from his office to let me know the culture was okay! Good thing!! I have left voicemails asking for appointments and/or refills that are not answered until days later. I was actually told to go to urgent care as there were no appointments available! Another thing. I have to go back to see Dr. Mercier every 3 months, even if I feel well!! If I don't, they won't renew my prescriptions. I have never had to go see a doctor every three months before this practice. Very disappointed as we were both really pleased when we first came to his practice 3 years ago! Looking for another doctor.

Takes his time with you and genuinely cares for your health

I just met Dr Agbo & his staff! He is very kind & he actually takes time to listen to you & help with your health issues. His staff is also very kind & ready to assist you in any way. I would highly recommend Dr Agbo as your General Practitioner!

Not only do I find Dr. Agbo to be a gifted physician,I acknowledge him to be a Gift to his patients! Dr.Agbo is very special in his caring demeanor and his attentiveness to the patient's concerns.He has a marvelous way of "putting a person at ease ,"and his intelligence and skill in medicine are remarkable.I am so very grateful that God lead me to schedule an appointment with this doctor at the beginning of 2022. Since then, it is my honor to be one of his Primary Care patients. I could not be happier ; I am in good hands!

He had a 4 star rating on here & it states that he’s accepting new patients. DON’T waste your time! I called his office & per the automated answering system, pushed the extension number for new patients. Left my name & phone number. This was on April 15, 2022. It is currently June 6, 2022, and I have yet to receive a call from his office. Read the reviews again, and they’re over 1 year old.

Dr. Agbo is an excellent Internal Medicine physician.

Very thorough and caring. Spent enough time with us to review health conditions. Staff very pleasant.
