Dr. Flaherty is hands down the finest Doctor I've ever had and I am 71 ~ he has given me my life back with his unending understanding of my problem ~ his bedside manner is one of kindness and a real gentle man ~ I'm grateful to God for this Doctor who keeps up with my problem and always has a plan going ~ Dr. Flaherty is awesome!!

Dr. James Flaherty is a fabulous surgeon and gynecologist. His bedside manner is perfection - professional yet friendly with a sense of humor. He takes time to listen to you and explains things carefully and thoroughly. Due to some spotting, I had to have a D&C. I also opted to get a large but simple cyst near my ovary removed at the same time. Naturally I was nervous when I went in for the outpatient procedures. But Dr. Flaherty put me at ease with his confidence and kindness right away. And it went quickly. Before I knew it I was done and on my way home. As expected the cyst was benign and as Dr. Flaherty predicted no issues with the D&C - a polyp had caused the problem. I have just a couple of tiny incision scars thanks to his surgical skills. It's no fun having surgery but Dr. Flaherty made it a lot easier. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Flaherty creates the best doctor/patient relationship. He is gentle in nature. Honest, soft spoken. Does what he needs to do effectively and quickly. I recommend him to anyone that needs a great GYN doc. And the advantage to his location is if you have the unfortunate problem of developing female cancer, the Oncology/Radiation team is within walking distance of his office! Will never go any other place again.

I read some past reviews, but decide to meet with Dr. Flaherty and see for myself. Thank God I did. I was so nervous about surgery and he took lots and lots of time to set my mind at ease. He explained everything to me; start to finish on bladder surgery. Trusting Dr. Flaherty was the best medical decision I have ever made. At my age surgery was frightening to say the least. I knew exactly what to expect and my recovery time. If you are unhappy with Dr Flaherty, you are probably just an unhappy person looking for trouble.

I was extremely anxious and nervous about my upcoming surgery. Dr. Flaherty was kind and patient with me. He made me feel so very comfortable by explaining each and every step involved. Although it has only been two months, I have never felt better. Please, if want a skilled and professional surgeon, make an appointment with Dr Flaherty. It was the best decision I ever made. Thank You.

I am pretty sure that this Dr made a mistake in charging me this extra $103,91 just because I asked him about my constipation and allergy, which he "well educated" prescript me a "benefiber" and "baby powder". I still not convinced that he remember me, because I don't think that a Dr, that you could consider as a Doctor in order to ask extra questions about your health, when in a visit, would charge you that amount to tell you that you have to use baby powder... but I will pay this bill..., and will be exciting waiting for the next "annual visit" just to stared at him and ask how much I will have to pay for some extra question about my health!! I am so sorry Dr, but I thought that we still have humans taking care of us and our health, but unfortunately I have been proof once more, that this is all about money $$$... SO SAD!! OUR WORLD NEEDS MORE HUMAN PEOPLE...

Dr. flaherty failed to diagnosis and treat an infection that resulted from an out-ot laproscopic procedure. His error in the surgery and failure for proper follow up as well as inability to properly diagnose the infection resulted in nearly a year of hospitalizations and subsequent 4 surgeries.
