After a banding by her I experienced much pain and bleeding. I contacted the doctor through her answering service and after four attempts was finally seen, not by the doctor but by her assistant. The assistant said she (the doctor) decided to drop me as a patient and would refer me to another doctor. It took four weeks for that doctor to call me, but by that time I had already heard from another doctor.

I would give Dr. Mariana de Jongh and Gastroenterology Associates a ten star if I could. Very professional office and staff. I had a sigmoid next door with the same experience. Thank you Dr. de Jongh, and her PA Lynda, for providing me treatment leading to a significant recovery from my intestinal issues!

I had hemorrhoid banding on August 22, 2023, at 1:40 p.m. Shortly after, the banding fell off, leaving me in extreme pain and excessive bleeding. I was not new to hemorrhoid banding, having this done to me twice in ten years. Yes, sometimes the patient will experience some bleeding, but that was not my concern--it was the pain! Before the procedure, I did not have any external hemorrhoids--now I do. My pain level goes from five to eight at times. I needed my doctor to have a look at the problem but was refused. after many pleas for help, my doctor's assistant told me that they were going to drop me as a patient and refer me to another doctor outside of their service. Now, at the time of this writing, September 2, 2023, I still have the pain and waiting for the referral doctor to call me. My advice to anyone considering this practice is to think twice because problems can occur and you will be faced with looking for a reputable doctor who cares about his or her patients.

I went to her years ago for my IBS and she truly changed my life. I don't know what I would've done back then without her!

Have had 3 procedures done by Dr. De Jongh and all besides the prep have been pleasant experiences with a well trained staff and convenient location

I have been seeing Dr. deJong for about 10 years for colonoscopy’s and about 4 years for my Interstim device. She and her nurse, Erika, are very professional, understanding, pleasant and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed, they listen to my issues and I always get in to see them within within a few minutes of my appointment time. I have, and will continue to, highly recommend Dr. deJong.
