Dr. Hopper with my doctor for about 7 years I hated that he had to leave. my daughter is a fan of him also. U can't get a better caring psychuatrist

Slapped a label on me while I was being discharged from the Army. 24 years later I found a doctor who finally gave me the right diagnosis. I remember him as being cocky, rude, inattentive. Liked to talk about himself to the staff. I never want to see him again, but I would like to view him when the time comes.

Focus of first (initial) appointment was my treatment over the past 30 years, meds, etc. There was no time for dialogue as to how I was currently doing or a review as to how I was doing with the meds. The second appointment was better. Initially annoyed with him reviewing previous notes, thinking that was going to be the direction of the session. We talked about diagnoses and concerns about the dosage of one med, which he adjusted. Looking forward to my next appointment in about five weeks.

Unfortunately, the Dr has moved to another practice, & I have not yet located him but will wait to make an appt with him rather than with anyone else. He's very personable but is also an excellent and very knowledgeable Dr. Yes, I would recommend him to friends and family.

I have seen alot of doctors and this is by far one of the greatest men I've had the privilege of meeting the treatment I've gotten from him is by far greater then expected far as other post he's not here to listen to you cry about everything tell him what's wrong he will fix it to the point

Very cocky and uncaring.switched my meds every month and didnt give them any time to work.he is a military dr and has that mindset of walk it off soldier! He doesnt spend more than 5 min with you.my new dr actually talks to you and cares.avoid dr. Richard scott hoffer at all cost.

Horrible.go see another dr.likes to constantly switch meds and doesnt give them time to work.a real quack!

This is my third Psychiatrist due to moving and change in insurance. Dr. Hoffer made me feel very comfortable. He did not change any of my medications. He made me feel Welcome. He was very easy to talk to. He is very intelligent and knows all about the proper medications
