My parents go to Dr. Gitte and she by far the WORST doctor!!! Absolutely no follow through. My mother has been in pain and not feeling well for over a week and she has not called her back for days after I have called ever day! This practice is pathetic. I wouldn't bring my dog here. If anyone has give 5 stars it is suspect. I think it must be the office staff posing as patients! If I could give no stars I would.

Terrible follow through. No call backs. Dr Gitte clearly doesn't care about her patients.

Horrible care and follow up! Left my mom in pain and not feeling well for over a week. Never called me back after I called the office every day! Wouldn't take my dog to her.

Terrible follow up and follow thru! You can not get anyone to answer the phone, all their calls goes to Call center. I tried for 3 days to reach her office, I finally had to drive over there. I messed up my knee on 12-26-2019, got to see her on 1-15-2020, she referred me to Dr. Williams, got to see him on 1-22-2020, he sent the request to Dr. Gitte to get me referred for 4 weeks of physical therapy, it is now 1-29-2020, I’ve been trying for 3 days get in touch with Gitte’s office, I finally gave up and went to her office to see what the problem was today. I sat there for over an hour waiting. I ended up leaving with no answers. I wouldn’t take my dog to this office! I’m changing my insurance and finding another doctor!

I’m not very happy presently with healthcare system in the Villages. I’ve called Dr Gitte/Lakeview several times about my CPAP machine & still don’t have it. It’s 3:03 am & my heart is racing from waking up because of sleep apnea. I understand that other people wake up at night taking care of small children, but they’ve no idea what a full blown sleep apnea session is like, Dr Gitte. Furthermore, I ask Dr Gitte about Inspire Sleep Apnea Surgery, FDA Approved, and Dr Gitte’s assistant called & wanted me to explain what is was—are you kidding me. I’m being generous with a 3 rating as I don’t feel very good about my chances of living a long life in the Villages. Everyone wants to blame COVID19 on poor service, but there is a limit on blaming something else. I should’ve stayed in Mississippi—they care.

I just fell in love with Dr. G., she was fabulous. I could go to the VA but I wouldn't get seen by any one as nice as she was.
