Best eye Dr around... Can not say enough about him. End story!!!

Dr Pefkaros and Dr Woods are both excellent physicians. Very friendly staff and always helpful. Would recommend highly.

Both Dr. Perfkaros and Dr. Woods are excellent doctors. They care about their patients and work with us to resolve our eye problems.

Dr. Pefkaros is great. He has done some surgeries on me with great outcomes. He gets 5 stars. His Viera office, however, only gets a 1. Huge beautiful office and I was only patient there. The tech took me right back on time to start my exam. Then, dr. Walter’s let me sit for 20 minutes waiting for no good reason. Not another pt in the office - and I could hear her shooting the breeze with 2 techs outside my door. My day off and I had other appts so I had to leave- with eyes dilated. And now will have to do it all over again in 2 weeks. Would certainly understand if the office was packed but this was unnecessary. Must be a lot of overhead for that office to have their doctor standing around chatting up the techs.

Choose another office. We have been patients of Dr Pefkaros for 9 years. He has taken care of the entire family. He is the only MD in his practice currently. We were told that he had a surgical backlog 18 months ago and he was not seeing patients, so I told them we would wait. They booked us appointments. Fast forward 18 months, and I get a vm telling me they need to reschedule. I contacted the office and the teenager told me that he is no longer seeing normal patients. When I asked how long this was to continue, she said indefinitely. So we waited with optical issues for 18 months for nothing. The gal was curt and dismissive. He may be great, but if you can’t see him, what’s the point?

Dr Pefkaros is extremely competent, explains all our options; this year he performed cataract surgery for both my husband and I. He also performed a blepharoplasty on my upper lids, which are healing nicely. His staff is outstanding, keep things moving so there is little wait time. We deeply appreciate his manner, kindness, plus clear explanations.

For several years now have been receiving top notch care here. Dr Pefkaros is a highly competent ophthalmologist and his staff excels as well. My wife and I see Dr. Walters for our contact lenses and general eye health care. I always feel like I'm getting the latest technology in examinations and care. If I ever have any issue they are quick to schedule us an immediate appointment, which is much appreciated. Contact lens and glasses care by Optician, Julie Snider, cannot be better. My neighbor had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Pefkaros and is very pleased with results.

Excellent - everything you want in a doctor. Clear, thorough, professional, competent and available. I needed eye surgery to prevent loss of vision in one eye and was really nervous about finding the right surgeon. No one I knew had any opthalmologist experiences so I was on my own. I am so glad I found Dr Pefkaros. He was familiar with my issue, had experience with it, and let me know my critical timelines so I could plan for everything properly. Then he was available for any concerns or issues I had, and I had a few things that needed nearly constant monitoring after the surgery, but he made it very easy. So many good doctors can be condescending or arrogant and he is NOT that guy. He is just an all around great person and doctor/surgeon!

Dr. Pefkaros is among the best. I’m in my early twenties and have extremely complicated eye issues with both eyes. Dr. Pefkaros is always available, no matter what day or time. He’s taken care of me for a few years now and I am so glad I was recommended to him years back. His practice has very friendly and attentive staff and it is always clean. He will listen to you and explain himself in a professional manner and you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. If you have not seen him, I highly recommend him as your doctor!
