Victor Boodhoo's Online Review Report Card

Not good. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, he didn't seem to care. It took 3 months to get an appt and when I got there, there was only one other person waiting, and there receptionist was very short with people and rude.

Dr. Boodoo has been my families physician for approximately 35 years. In my opinion, he is truly concerned about his patients health and prescribes non invasive treatment when ever possible. Doesnt have time for his patients out of office . I went to Parish Hospital to get blood drawn on his request. They had the wrong code for 1 the tests. They called his office had trouble getting anyone. Had to call several times before getting through. The front office contated Dr. Boodhoo he said hes busy call back later so the office sent me out and took a few more ppl then called me back in and called again he told them he wasnt going to give the proper code cause hes busy.

Dr Boodhoo will not listen to what is going on. He always wants to give you a new pill. He first told me I was old and going to hurt. Today he told me to go home and treat myself after being home sick for three months. He was always short with me. It has been this way thru stage four cancer with him.

He really cares, is very thorough, and if he doesn't know much about the possible diagnosis, he'll send you to someone who does! He's a great choice!!!

Dr. Boodhoo has been my PCP for over 10 years and he has been an oustanding doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone.....

Doctor Boodhoo is a vibrant engaged practioner who focuses on the most critical aspects first. He takes time in preparation and execution of his consults. I highly recommend him. I am a patient as is my wife.

I have seen Dr. Boodhoo 3 times. The frist vist was a nice vist, I was sick with a sinus infection and Dr. Boodhoo was plasent and seemed to care. The second vist, was a yearly physical, after my examination, I mentioned that I had a particular condition. Dr. Boodhoo's response(in kind of an angry voice)was that I could not have that condition, because he did not see it during the exam. He walked out before I could explan that the doctor that had found this condtion touched it and even showed his nurse. I also wanted him to order some blood test (I have diabetes, thyriod problems and in the past I have had problems with my liver enzymes), when I spoke to the nurse about it, he/she said that the doctor only deals with one thing at each appointment and that she could not ask him (almost like she was afraid to ask him). I made another appointment to discuss the blood test. Before that appointment occured my pap smear came back a little off and Dr Boodhoo want to repeat the test, so they tacked it on the appointment I made to talk about the blood test. At this last appointment, when the nurse ask me why I was there, I told the him/her about the pap smear and to talk about ordering the blood test. The nurse said that the doctor would only do the pap smear I would have to make another appointment to discuss the blood test. Needless to say I was upset and told the nurse that this appoinment was for the blood test and the office tacked on the pap smear. The nurse said "he is in a good mood today, he might talk to you about the blood test". I could not belive what I was hearing! I was told not to ask Dr. Boodhoo about the blood test, that it was mentioned on the file. When Dr. Boodhoo ask me about the blood test I told him the reasons for the test and he questioned me as to when my last blood test was done, like he did not belive me!

Yes Dr. Boodhoo is a wonderful docotr and will be missed at his formal practice.
