Dr. Mates has done two surgeries on my daughters knee…. Repair a Torn meniscus and second surgery to restructure defective meniscus from birth. My daughter is a minor and Dr. mates really stepped up to the plate and helped her get better. That says a lot when nobody else would touch her because she is a minor. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. His bedside manners and his compassion are through the roof. He is amazing and really cares about his patients . He goes above and beyond what is needed from a surgeon. I am grateful for him. He has helped my daughter when nobody else would. It is very rare that you find somebody with this caliber. He is truly a gem and I would highly recommend him to everyone. I just can’t say enough good things about him.

I have had chronic pain for 16 months. Dr. Mates is the 9th doctor I have been to, including an emergency walk in and 2 ER visits. He is the first dr to show genuine concern, listen to me, and give me a treatment plan. Within minutes he was certain that he knew what was going within my body. Having chronic pain has interfered with every aspect of my life and the depression has been tough to deal with. Dr. Mates gave me hope. His staff is amazing and they truly care about their patients.

After years of suffering with foot and leg pain, I was lucky enough to find Dr.Mates. I was giving up on all hopes of getting better. I was barely able to walk and my life as I knew it was gone. Only one visit with this amazing Dr. and I finally feel like I am on the right path to wellness. It has been far to long to suffer and I am thrilled to say after years of pain, I am feeling like myself again. Thank you Dr.Mates for giving me my life and happiness back. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't found this Dr. and his staff! Kindest, caring and most professional staff. 100 stars all the way around.

My right rotator cuff was totally destroyed and I was awaiting reverse total shoulder replacement that was scheduled for after a special 3 week trip. I was experiencing a lot of nighttime shoulder pain making it impossible to sleep. Dr Mates gave me an injection of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) with the hopes that it would help with the inflammation and thereby decrease the pain. It was like a miracle! I still had pain during the day with certain movements, but was able to sleep soundly at night. I am so grateful that he offered me this treatment!
