I love this Dr, he cares! I had a torn retina that he fixed! I'm actually starting to see better out of my left eye cuz of him! I had a 50/50 chance to get my sight back and it worked!! Tysvm I'd recommend him to all!! Everyone in his office are so nice, polite and friendly! Now I can't see him anymore since my eye is almost healed.. That kind of sucks! He will take care of u!! Thank u to all the office staff to, great ppl!!

Dr. Montzka has been my eye surgeon for years. I have had 4 detached retinas over these many years, and he has successfully operated each time. I would recommend him to anyone needing eye surgery.

Great job I needed shots in my eyeballs to relieve water I was freaking out thinking it’s like some sort of torture b When in the office I received a series of drops (numbing) from the Dr I asked when I was going to get the shots in the eyes and he said he already did them Wow didn’t feel a thing Great job

I have been a patient of Dr. Montzka for 20 years. I am blessed to have such a knowledgeable doctor who I trust to take care of my eye problems. I am diabetic, making it imperative that I have a trusted doctor taking care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Montzka to anyone looking for the best retinopathy doctor in the area.

The initial phone intake didn’t give me a sense of what to expect — or at least I wasn’t expecting a great visit. I’ve been getting care for my condition for 10 years now, including at the Cleveland Clinic. I was really pleased with my visit to the practice today for my regular follow up (but first appointment here). I interacted with a number of staff, all of whom were friendly and considerate. I appreciated their care, both as a patient and as someone who worked in medical settings for more than 4 years.

I was a patient of Dr. Montzka's. After he gave me a shot in the eye for wet macular I began to lose sight in that eye. I was very alarmed at that obviously. I called the office so I could be seen and find out what's going on. The office staff told me he wasn't in that week. No one was covering for him either. My regular Opthamologist called the office to get me in but there was no one there to see me. My regular Opthamologist is not a Retinaologist The office staff told me over the phone it wasn't serious. Really? Losing sight in my eye isn't serious.
