I was referred to Dr. Wenk by my BayCare surgeon and was a little hesitant about scheduling an appointment at first vs. scheduling at another more well know cancer treatment facility in the area however after researching Dr. Wenk I decided to go ahead and schedule an appointment with him. Before my first appointment with Dr. Wenk was over I knew that I 100% made the right decision in scheduling with Dr. Wenk. Subsequently meeting his team and the rest of the staff at Florida Cancer Specialists just reinforced that it was the best decision I could have made regarding my caretreatment.

We are only 49 days out from diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Dr. Wenk was recommended by my primary careBaycare. My husband wanted me to go to Moffitt. I knew from the moment I first met with Dr. Wenk and his Nurse practitioner Amanda that we did not need to look any further. They both take the time to listen and answer questions. We have NEVER felt rushed. I am able to reach Amanda by phone with questions very quickly and she often picks right up. This is a very scary time and Dr. Wenk has put us at ease. He did his fellowshipresidence at Moffitt. Highly recommend.

HE SAVED MY LIFE I got life threatening cancer in Atlanta my most trusted friend recommended I move to Tampa and get treated by Dr Wenk. He saved my life twice I highly recommend him to everyone I meet

I had a very rare cancer. Dr Wenk should have been my first choice unfortunately I didnt meet him until I left Atlanta and moved to Florida he had an experimental anticancer medication for my rare cancer that was undergoing a clinical trial with promising results. No one else in the world has access to cutting edge treatments like he does. He completely cured my cancer when I should have died in Atlanta 10 years ago. And I am still cancer free now and running marathons again
