Very compassionate, explains every detail. Has no problem answering all silly questions. Very pleased highly recommend Dr Cook
My wife had both knees replaced by Dr. Cook.... Knees are great, Dr. Cook is outstanding!
UPDATE: 10/13 After Dr. Cook canceled my appt. 3 times I finally got in. Spent 17 min. in the office. Billed my Ins. $639.85 and expects me to pay an additional $116.38. money hungry for sure. NOW tries to bill me for $5,500.oo for services from 2017,2018,2019,2020,2012 because I left there and went to her X partner, Peter Howard, M.D. Sad. addition, computer training should be on YOUR time, not patients time. Was called and asked if I had my MRI disk 3 times when your office already had it. (all 3 times) Would not reschedule my 4th appointment because your staff text me, (not called) Been in pain for months with no help in pain management. Shut my business down to keep my appointment and your scanner does not communicate with your computer. Really not my issue. Some front desk staff are snotty. If your are a specialist, your office should be compassionate (as you say) not grumpy fixing their hair in a mirror in the lobby. 5th visit, after x pay, MRI, etc., to discuss surgery. Asked how much, told me to call accounting. Called accounting on 8/2. No discussion of surgery in my notes. No one knows the cost. 5 visits, severe knee pain, no one knows about my knee surgery? I think you need to get your office and notes together. In fact, your receptionist fixing her hair constantly and giving people attitudes has got to go.
I had a slip and fall accident up north. When I came down here, I was referred to se Dr Jennifer Cook by a male fiend. I had a fractured elbow. She walked in with her mini jacket and high heels. Did an X-ray and said there was nothing she could do for the elbow. 2 years passed my elbow in so much pain. I went to a different Dr. They did an mri, saw a loose bone and saw a mess and told me I needed surgery.. I went to Dr Scott Brotherton and he fixed my elbow. Dr Jennifer Cook is a poor excuse for a dr and all she cares about is her sexy appearance and not healing patients .
Sad to see that broken appointments and over charging still happen. and when you leave and go somewhere else, they retaliate by falsify bills, making up charges and send you to collection even when you have insurance and paid your portion of the bills. sad, really sad.
Dr. Cook is very professional, kind, cares about her patients and her skill level is exceptional! I would recommend her to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. I was very anxious about my knee replacement but Dr. Cook explained the procedure and assured me I would be well taken care of. I am an older person so the recovery for me was longer. I was in the process of a move to Georgia and I still see a PT, at times, but am doing very well. I do miss Dr. Cook and hope she is well!!
Husband had a knee replacement. Afterwards he asked why his leg was crooked and was told that it wasn't, that it was due to a fallen arch. He tried to talk to her and she kept insisting everything was good. Confirmed with another doctor that the knee replacement was not done properly and he would eventually need another knee replacement. You can hear the knee click and see it moving around when he walks. He's afraid now that it's going to give out on him. Thank you Doctor Cook for being so arrogant you can't even discuss what went wrong and be truthful. My husband understands that sometimes surgeries go wrong but it would have been nice if you would have admitted it or at least listened to him and tried to discover what was wrong instead of just insisting everything was good.
Dr. Cook began her journey with me after a fall that fractured both my legs. A year later, a 2nd TKR and two years later , emergency surgery on that same leg after she found my knee was Septic! She got me through hell and supported me throughout. I highly recommend this compassionate competent surgeon
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Cant seem to get anyone in the office to help me get a new patient appt. 5 calls 2 texts to 2 different people over 4 days ?
Dismissive and would not listen. Spent a month in rehab and couldn’t straighten or bend my knee after her bilateral knee replacements in 2016. Now 2022 and just had my second revision. Not from her. Just said more Pt and X-ray was fine. Her last sentence on operative report was candidate for rapid recovery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
