Joseph Staffetti's Online Review Report Card

I have always found Dr. Staffetti to be very personable and knowledgeable. He has never rushed through any of my appointments with him and has always made sure I have all my questions answered before I leave. He has performed three procedures on me and each time he always tells me that he and his staff will take good care of me and that's exactly they do. I have never had any problems during or after any of the procedures he's performed on me. I highly recommend Dr. Staffetti!

I highly recommend Dr Stafetti and his staff. Caring, professional, and before, during, and after my procedure, they were totally accessible and informative.

Dr Staffetti and his team really are truly excellent. It is very obvious that they care about their patients and make it their goal to put patients at ease. I felt so totally prepared for my first ever procedure as I was walked through it beforehand. I was also contacted the day before and the day after to check on my welfare. Very impressed and certainly recommend.

I had my first ever procedure under the care of Dr Staffetti and could not be more impressed with him and his whole team. Every one of them went out of their way to put me at my ease and make sure I was fully informed and prepared. I know they do this every day but I was a bit nervous about it. I had no need to be…the team checked on my the week before, the day before and the day after. Whilst at the surgery center I felt like I was the only patient because of the friendly, calming and relaxed attitudes I encountered. I could not recommend more this absolutely excellent care.

I've been going to Dr. Staffetti for fifteen years and just had my third colonoscopy. He has always been very professional, friendly and through. Yes, he is a busy Doctor, but that is for a good reason, he knows his stuff and takes care of business. My wife also goes to Dr. Staffetti, just had her forth colonoscopy, the prep was difficult for her this time, call 24 hr. answering service at 12:05 am the morning of her procedure and Dr. Staffetti got on the phone and advised her on what to do to relieve her discomfort and she made the 7:00 am colonoscopy the same morning. You can't put a price on that kind of service. We trust Dr. Staffetti and I believe you can too. Calvin

Dr. Staffetti was very good. He came to see me before the procedure to see if I had any questions or concerns. Then when I woke up in recovery, he came to check on me again. Also, all the staff was very helpful.

I had an appointment in June set for about 6 weeks. They call me 3 days before to change it to a totally different time. I reworked my work schedule to make the time work. Then, the day before, they call to cancel - with no reason and no apology - and say it needs ti be rescheduled to August. This is terrible service. If you need to reschedule someone, you make it a priority to get them seen as soon as possible. I will definitely be looking for a different doctor.

Dr. Staffetti has been my personal GI doctor for two years and my work colleague for six. He is patient, kind, and extremely thorough. He works very hard to make sure each patient gets the time they need. Highly recommend him and his practice!

I having been trying, every day, to get a call back concerning my biopsy results. Further surgery is scheduled tomorrow and still no return call. The message says not to leave numerous messages and now I see why! Perhaps more office staff is needed. Too bad, because I feel the doctors are good.

Never got to see the doctor. The front desk staff was so overworked and and understaffed that I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time and still had not been checked in. I arrived at my 8:45am appointment with my mailed check-in paperwork all complete. The receptionist was clearly swamped, she didn't want my paperwork at that time and instead requested that give her my name and have a seat. I had a seat near the window, waiting to be called. 30 minutes passed and I watched several other patients come in after me. Some were placed on a list and asked to wait and others were checked in. In one case, a gentleman was checked in after my arrival, and was brought back to see the DR, while I waited to even be checked in. I understand that other patients have other arrangements and might move through the check-in process in different ways, however it FELT lousy and 40 minutes after my appointment time, I still had not even been checked in. At that point I informed the front desk that I no longer wished to be seen, that the office was clearly overworked and understaffed, and that they should let the doctor know. I waited 3 months for this appointment, and that should have been a hint to me. I'm sure Dr. Staffetti is a caring and excellent physician, however if the office intake is this bad, I'm certain that the wait in the exam room would have been long and frustrating as well. I am fortunate to have a choice of doctors and I will simply choose one that has a better (less overworked) administrative team.
