Dr. Maravel has been my doctor for over 15 years. I always highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable and friendly. His office staff is top notch. Excellent choice! I hope I never have to go anywhere else!

Best doctor I ever had. The most knowledgeable doctor in medications and formulations of those meds. He is always available when I have a question. He doesn't have the nurse call me back, he does himself. He always tells "my story" concerning my health whether I like what I hear or not.

I normally do not review physicians short comings but this one has taken me by surprise....I scheduled a physical and the GPS sent me to a wrong location putting me late for the appointment. I spoke with them and rescheduled and unfortunately I had an emergency come up on the appointment date and had to cancel by phone. The new date was set for a month later as I was out of state until then and when I called to confirm the appointment the day before I was informed the Dr decided he would not take me on as a patient? I found this to be both arrogant and rude to not even show the decency to call me to tell me this. It appears he would have allowed me to show up and then send me on my way like a petulant child for making his schedule inconvenient. He did me a favor I will shop for another more adult behaving physician........

I have been seeing Dr. Maravel for about 6 years for aviation physicals. I have always had positive experiences. The office staff is very friendly and great at accommodating me into their schedule when I've waited to the last minute to make an appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Maravel for over 4 years now and I find him to be extremely knowledgeable in his field and has helped me with my weight and blood pressure as well as vasecular. His office has always been caring and find time to fit me in if needed. The one review I read from 5 years ago, is so far from the truth. He is caring and so is his office. They have found me other specialist when needed and has been there for me as I have needed. Now, if you want a person to sugar coat it, and explain things as if there is nothing wrong with you, then you are going to the wrong person. He is a man of strong will and will take care of you but, will not listen to some of the wining I have heard from others. That is the type of person I want to go to and not someone that won't listen to me. He will call you on it when needed and will explain everything as to why he is doing what he is doing with your care. I remembered one time I had gout so bad that I went in there on Crutches. He gave me a shot and explain to me that the med's the Dentist had me take, was the cause of it. I went to the Pharmacy and the Pharmacist had to look it all up and found out that he was right and that she should have caught it herself after searching for it. By the way, the shot he gave me worked by the time I went to bed. Yep, I will continue with him since I do drive 110 miles each way just for the visit and care! Tom
