Dr.Haff did my double hip surgery, replaced, two years ago. Excellent care from not only him but his staff that works at the office. Dr. Haff was very supportive before surgery and right before they put me to sleep not forgetting his surgery team! I couldn't have asked for better support before the surgery as if they had been my own friends or family and they really didn't have to be! I was not a little scared very much scared. Even a 68 year old woman gets scared. This took place at Trinity Hospital Aug. 8,2021 during Covid. I almost delayed the surgery because there was so much talk of getting COVID at any hospital. Trinity staff took every precaution to make sure that everything and everyone was protective before during and after my week-long stay. After surgery like this they have you up walking some with the physical therapy person who couldn't have been any nicer supportive and explaining what was going on and what was to happen until I went to a rehab center. I had to stay like I said about a week because I have multiple sclerosis and it decided to act up plus had to have a blood transfusion not because I lost so much blood it was because I was anemic before the surgery plus I had problems with my blood pressure not being normal it wasn't high it constantly was low and in the mist of all of this going on we found out I had a kidney infection, this was NOT due to the surgery I had it before hand but wasn't bad enough to pick up before surgery. So I was doing very very well with the hip surgery part it was all the other medical problems I had and again this medical stuff was going on before surgery it just wasn't bad enough to pick up before surgery or they wouldn't have done the surgery. Once the medical was taken care of I was released taken to rehab where I stayed and learned how to walk all over again. My condition was so much different than someone healthy due to the MS and had been in the wheelchair for almost 3 years before hand due to not only the hips being so bad I couldn't walk but due to what damage the MS had done to my legs and the nerves, not walking for almost 3 years legs were very weak, lost muscle tone along with the lower back plus had a very bad sciatic nerve on the left. Rehab taught me to not only walk again with the Walker but worked on rebuilding the muscles to strengthen them with a lot of hard work on my side and being taught the correct exercises to do. After rehab off to his office to have the stitches removed. You should see how I was stitched up and the incision on both legs 2 years later you can hardly see where I was stitched up and how precise and straight the lines were cut that's the work of Dr.Haff! Not a vain person but I'm so proud of my incisions I show them off as much as anyone will look. All I did was put some cream on them twice a day I got the cream off of HSN by Beekman that uses goat milk in the mixture.Sorry for making this review so long about Dr. Hanff but he so changed my life and took all that horrible, awful constant pain away where I'm NOT on all those pain meds anymore. They always ask you what's your pain level from 0 to 10 mine was 500 on a good day at a bad day 1,000, pick a number over 1,000 that's exactly how I was feeling. Anyone that's in constant exhilarating horrible nasty pain you know exactly what I mean about the 500 to1,000+ on a pain level! Dr. Haff gave me back my life and it's hardly ever that he does double hip surgery! Dr made a deal with me he would do the double surgery but I'm the one that had to do the work twice as much because it's the two that need the work not one. I'm so proud of myself but the work doesn't stop after rehab or a year or two,it's an everyday job to keep these hips moving, the blood flowing so they will be working the correct way and not freezing up. God gave me a second chance at living that I didn't have for the last 10 years as the hips became worse and worse Dr Haff gave me the hips so I can enjoy my life what I have left I thank God and Dr Hanff Every Day Need your hips replaced Go See the brilliant Dr
Quick treatment and friendly staff.
He is a great Doctor. Very positive and I am so happy I found him!
Very friendly staff. Knowledge doctor who take time to answer questions and don't rush you. Has restroom in waiting room and its clean. Was able to get me in quickly. Has online portal to help move things quicker and you have access to your information quicker too.
He is a great Doctor. He is helping me get my knee to a better place after scar tissue formed after my knee replacement. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. My original Doctor did not want to see me until 6 months after the surgery. What a disaster that would have been.
This office is run like a well-oiled machine. Having worked for doctors for over 30 years, that’s the highest compliment I can pay. I was taken on time. The doctor diagnosed me in 5 minutes and I was on my way. Very pleasant and great bedside manner. Hopefully I won’t have to return but if I have to, I’d return in a heartbeat!
Saw MD in April and he ordered gel injection for my knee said it would take 3 weeks for approval. Approved on 5/10/23, office said wait. Waited and called Liz very defensive and unhelpful. Told me I have many other patients to deal with beside you. Office lost authorization papers. Had them faxed and emailed, Liz said she still could not help me. Spoke with office manager ,Andrea who then had Liz call me back to tell me she could not help me and I would have to wait a few more weeks for the injection. And to basically stop calling her.
Had my second hip replaced by Dr Hanff at his outpatient center in odessa. Other than being 8 miles east of trinity hospital, the entire center treated me fantastic and 10 times better than trinity hospital. Also in and home in 5 hours!! Dr. HANFF has done my wife and many neighbors. I don't say it often, but this Dr is fabulous!!! I have no pain at all second day and walking like normal, wife is making me just using a walker for safety.
I went there for my first visit. I had a hard time with their portal and their office staff was not knowledgeable. The office manager Andrea apologized for her staff as "she was new only about 4 weeks in and that a lot of their veteran staff was not in." We also discussed copay and we understood that the copay for Dr. Hanff would be $35. When I was checking in early with Debbie at my appt. she began to get combative and argue with me and telling me that my copay would be the $125 and that I should call my insurance. I called them and confirmed $35. When i put them on the phone with Debbie and Andrea at the desk Debbie got angry and stormed off. Andrea then they told me that I needed to go get my x-rays and come back. I explained that I was not told that. She then stated that staff aka Debbie said I was cursing at her. I asked her if I cursed or got disrespectful at any point and she said no and I said why would I start now. She then stated that it was best if I seek care somewhere else
I went there for my first visit. I had a hard time with their portal and their office staff was not knowledgable and each department doesn't know anything other than their specific function on the phone. I had to get the office manager for assistance. The office manager who is Andrea or Angela apologized for her staff as "she was new only about 4 weeks and that a lot of their veteran staff was not in." When I spoke to other individuals before her. We also discussed copay and we understood that the copay for Dr. Hanff would be $35 and I explained that Dr. Cook would be $125 based on the insurance. When I was checking in early at my appointment they began to argue with me and telling me that my copay would be the $125 and that I should call my insurance. Then they told me that I needed to go get my x-rays and come back. I explained that I was not told that and that their office would be able to get my records. When I called the insurance and got the representative on the phone regarding the co-pay and she told them I was correct and it was $35. Debbie the receptionist got frustrated and walked away and then Andrea advsied me that it was my responsibility to have my x-rays here now and that they cannot help me and then told me that I cannot be cursing at the staff. I advised that is a lie and that I don't and have not cursed at anyone. I advised that I didnt curse at anyone on the phone yesterday and when I spoke to her I didnt and she confirmed that. I advised that Debbie is causing issues because she was wrong and is covering herself. She then told me that I needed to seek medical assistance somewhere else. I wanted to be there because the Doctor had good reviews but this "New Staff" they have is horrible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
