Was seen in the hospital for diverticulitis and hospitalized for 5 days on IV antibiotics. Emily the very nice PA instructed me to follow up with Dr. Angello when discharged. I could not get an appointment for over a month! I called to check the date and time of my appointment and was told the 10 th appointments had to be cancelled due to new procedures scheduled. Now they cannot reschedule me until October!!! I will perforate my bowel before then! I need a colonoscopy for bowel surgery!!!! This office is the worst and jeopardizes the health of its patients!

I went to this office to see Dr. Kondapalli and when I entered the staff was friendly and professional. I started filling out my paperwork and was called back to the exam room. The nurse asked me basic history questions, took my vitals and left the room. The doctor came in a few moments later and I was still filling out paperwork. I had just gotten to a page that was a BLANK release of information form. I tried asking the doctor what it was for and he started arguing with me. He told me I had to sign it or not see him. When I kept pushing the issue, he told me I could walk out of the exam room and speak with the manager. He would not go and get this person and this was my first time in the office so I had no clue who or where the manager was. This doctor has a God complex and thinks he is better than other people. I ended up storming out of the office while ripping up the paperwork I had already signed because the doctor was so confrontational and wouldn't explain this or try to help me find out the answer to why I needed to sign a blank ROI. I would not recommend anyone going to this office because a blank ROI is nothing to joke about and the doctor should have been more understanding instead of being confrontational.

Stay away from Dr. Dumas. I was misdiagnosed as well as judged.

Dr Kondapalli is the best!

New to town and heard several second hand comments about how good this practice is. So I got an appointment and now I see why they have such a good reputation.

Dr. Agnello and her staff are wonderful! Dr. Agnello is knowledgeable, proactive and listens to patient thoughts and concerns. I can't reccomend Dr. Agnello enough.

They do not care about their patients. Find somewhere else to go that actually shows compassion and takes the time to address your concerns.

Venice Gatroenterlogy (poor customer service/arrogant doctor) The Dr. Dumas's assistant office manager Leslie is less than professional. I was charged for no call no show appointment even after i cancelled 2 days prior because of not having all test results. As well the second time i was sick being told not to come in. This office failed to resverse those charges then failed to file a claim with my insurance for the previous services rendered. I contacted Holly at the billing office and paid her what she said was due $75.00. Called to make an appointment and was advised the hold my account was not cleared. I called the billing office back and spoke to Recbecca she advised she would resolve the collection and would get with the Doctors office to resolve the no call no show charges. I was given an appointment date and upon my arrival a very snooty and uprofessional receptionist Dawn ask my name and date of birth. I provided the information and was advised she could not find my appointment. Upon looking into things she advised i would need to reschedule my appointment. I drove 93miles from a job i was on to make this appointment and explained in a quiet calm tone that this was not acceptable and i was told by Rebecca Clark my billing was resolved. I went and sat down and contacted the billing office. The snooty receptionist told me i would need to reschedule. Anther patient was sitting in the area and told me she had similiar problems with billing from this office. I does not matter if your sick, or call in advance to cancel this doctors office wants to be paid the $25.00 no call no show fee. Do we get paid when they call to reschedule our appointments? I asked for the office manager to at least resolve the no call no shows. They said she was not available and resfused to assist me further. I would highly recommend everyone to look elsewhere for a gastroenterology doctor as Venice Gastroenterology is all about the dollars and cares nothing for its patients. Dr. Dumbas is an arrogant doctor and has poor bedside manners. If you can deal with that he ok, but his off staff are out of control not worth the aggrivation.
