Gregory Lomas's Online Review Report Card

Dr Lomas saved my life! The tests he ordered showed a large tumor in my kidney. Within a week, I was scheduled for surgery to remove the kidney. The biopsy showed renal cell carcinoma. Without his knowledge and expertise, he said that the tumor could have quickly grown outside the kidney and affected other organs. His bedside manner was excellent and the surgery was a success. I did not need to follow up with any chemotherapy or radiation. I can say with conviction that Dr Lomas is one of the finest doctors I have had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you Dr Lomas!

Kind and pleasant experience

VERY HARD to contact him. Called 4X last week and still no call !! I even sent a Fax, nothing !!

Dangerously uninformed, uneducated, and ill trained. I had to get all of my work from MRI to biopsy redone because his work was so untrustworthy and unusable. Has no idea about latest developments in the field. Whether he was ever a good doc is probably debateable, but he is not one now. should retire for good. lacks compassion on top of everything else.

Scheduling went according to plan. His nurse took my information, checked my blood pressure and updated my file. The doctor came in on time and reviewed my information. Doctor Lomas is a seasoned veteran and knows what to look for. He is very professional and direct. I would recommend him to anyone.

Had an appointment for a vericocele which was causing me pain. Suggested I take aspirin, so essentially perpetually treat it with aspirin (im 24). He said the other options were a surgery or an implant, but said I would wait a month to decide. Came back a month later and he suggested the implant. Seems like a predatory practice of shecduling excessive appointments in order to hit the patients wallet. Avoid at all costs.

I have prostate cancer that spread into my skeleton. In April 2020, when urination was becoming painfully restricted, Dr. Lomas at RTR Urology had no suggestions. When I asked about dilation procedures, he said it would be useless and temporary. He scheduled a PSA test to be reviewed in a month. Precious time was wasted. At my second visit, Dr. Lomas still had no recommendations and said I would soon be in full retention. He asked me to return in 12 weeks with another PSA test result. In distress, I suggested catheters. He gave some single use types. After discovering the unpleasantness of these daily procedures, I consulted another doctor. My new urologist immediately arranged for Greenlight laser surgery the next week, which would allow me to urinate with ease, and installed an interim indwelling catheter to relieve a completely blocked bladder. The surgery results were amazing. I cannot recommended Dr. Lomas to anyone as he did not care or know how to address this urgent issue.

I have had kidney and prostate problems for more the 10 years. I have seen four other urologists. I have been seeing Dr Lomas for over two years. He is the best so far. He listens to what the patient is saying or trying to say. He is not looking for a reason to do surgery like most other surgeons. Dr Lomas is a genuinely good person as well as a skilled surgeon. My kidney stone removal was extremely successful when done by Dr Lomas. I can't say that for my previous stone removals with other doctors. Unfortunately I have my share of exposure to urologist, this guy is the one to stick with.

Told him I could not sit upright after taking out stint he hit a button that slammed the top portion of the bed forward I screamed in pain-he left the room. I saw stars for five minutes.Today I am in bed with the most pain I've had in five months I told him of my physical limitations due to a back operation that went bad and yet he still did what he did.
